I leveled a wookiee alt of mine just for the purpose of making casters... I personally love mine 2.4 354 for a great non mastery weapon. But, in general only non elite wookiee would really benefit.

instead of asking to be able to craft a wookie specifik weapon id much rather they gave each race unic weapons to craft. Id like the diversity that would create

A lot of common weapons and then 1-3 race specific ones

Hmmm...you went Wookiee just to get the bowcaster schem? That must have been disappointing

Hopefully with the revamp and the end of armor piercing the Bowcaster may re-emerge as a viable option for Wookiees, especially crafters with few combat skills. Last time I made some I think they came out around 169-301 5.3 unenhanced, so with decent gorax shards and krayt tissues averaging +55 each, it would be possible to match the damage range of a T-21, but at a speed of 4.7 or less. You'd also have much better range.

Bowcasters are great weapons btw. Just not the crafted ones. I personally like my 2 mind fire casters and my 1995max poweredup bowcaster(for slaying jedis of course). My best crafted one hits 709 powered up though

and it will probably get so nerfed afterwards.

do you remember FGW/Scatter/Launcher issue?

to make it easy i can say that devs comment on change was something like.

Weapons was not supposed to have 2 damage sources (BPH and PFM) at same time.

Now aslong bowcasters are rare sight nobody caresbut when AP goes away and rich wookies start toorder bowcasters with exeptional tissues and bones. some nerfherders will start to cry for a nerf.
