Why would you delete base tissues anyway? People pay good money for some of the onepower handlerpistols like a Scout Blaster or Scatter with a Krayt tissue in them.
The reason you delete tissues (or leave them on the krayt) is that plain and simple, if you go hunting you get too many tissues. I hunt with one friend (i also have my alt rifleman with me) and in a 3+ hour I bet we get close to 100, maybe more tissues. I have walked out on numerous occasion with 80+ by myself. With that being said, I don't have the time to sit there and hand craft scout blasters that I'd sell for 25k.
Above average tissues are a dime a dozen and I'd prefer to provide my customers with above base guns. We usually leave any drop of 3 or under on the Krayt. Occasionally I will take a base run of tissues and make a few guns to suprise customers when they meet me in person.
And while yes, people may pay good money, the fact is that a lot of us as weaponsmiths are not in the weaponsmith business for the money. I do it cause I enjoy it, I appreciate my customers and how successful they made me, and I think its better to give back to the customers who created me, than try to gouge for every last penny.

Regardless, just because they're base doesnt mean you need to put them into a Scatter. Even my base krayt'd DXR6's go for 100k higher than a non-krayt. Deleting a set of base that only has 2 tissues with the same serial is fine, anything higher than that is a mortal sin. Maybe someone's looking for something to grind with that only takes 3 tissues but cant find it because everyone only puts their best tissues into their best guns and never pays attention that maybe the one person looking for that krayt'd E11 Carbine would be willing to pay an extra 100k for your carelessness and greed. C'mon now, just go unload then go w h o r efarm more krayts later.

If you would like to delete tissues and are on the Gorath server feel free to Offer them to my vendor just outside the Rebel Outpost on Rori. I'd be more than happy to buy them from you for a few credits each.

It has been my experience that only the first of the better than base group is yellow.
The rest that follow are white too...

As someone mentioned earlier, any enhancement is better than no enhancement. Shame on you.

Thanks for the tip. Next time I have a hard time thinking straight and decide to delete Krayt tissue I'll keep it in mind. You're a Jackass with a capitol "J". Deleted some max 57's did you? Serves you right.

This is what you do. u go back to shop, make schematics out of them all and throw them in the cooker. then they take up less space AND are ready to use on a whim

3+ hours, close to 100.
You, your friend, rifleman alt. Three times 80 inventory + 50 item backpack.
They're not worth getting because...... A bit of advice...drop the crafting tools and spare clothes when you go hunting and inventory won't be a problem. It still shouldn't be a problem with 3 toons there...
I love using base tissues on scout blasters/DH17 carbs/DLT20s/etc. Not worth a whole lot, but the benefit to such weapons is pretty darn substantial. I usually sell them, but sometimes keep a few in my backpack so when I meet the odd newbie that asks me for help (not credits, not handouts, but help) I can give them something pretty darn nice. Make a few friends that way.
This reminds me of the guildmate that told me he just deleted geo sword cores without looking at them...yellow marked stacks of 6 and 7 even... I had to restrain myself...almost slapped him since some of those could have been darn nice and produced 2 per schem use.
i acutally dont use my MWS to hunt them, so inventory space isnt an issue. after being one of the biggest MWS's on the server for maybe 6 months, it does take a toll on you. some people could turnover 500 tissues a day i bet. personally between pvp, loot hunting and doing guild stuff, along with a 45 hour a week job, my time is really limited and i do not have the time to sit there and craft allday.
i do occasionally make the 1 tissue low end weapons and sell em for maybe 30-35k. but that is mainly when i run like an ion or something and have a few leftovers.

Wow, this thread is going nuts. What I've done is dropped a house close to the Graveyard (I dropped one near the Giant Skeleton POI too, because Krayt love to spawn there too, but let's keep that one a secret) and throw a vendor in there. I make the 5 km bike ride to the house, pick up a crate of backpacks, separate the tissues into identical serial number bags then offer them to the vendor. Now all my WS has to do is come out, buy the tissues and I'm all set.
And, if your WS doesn't have Merchant, a) shame on you, b) how else do you sell your goods, c) just drop them in the house.
It's a very easy idea that solves a very easy problem, and no krayt tissues get spayed or neutered in the process. (Oh, you know you love the Price is RIght.)

I gave some guy 100k for like 25 base tissues he had lying around in his inventory. He told me he usually deletes the base tissues but decided he would sell them instead that time. I have talked to a few people who hunt krayt for a living and they would tell me that to them base tissues were worthless unless they got a set of 11. They would fill up their and other members inventory's.. this was before the krayt boom but also before the 20 extra spots in our inventories.
It is sad that you get tons of krayt tissue that you would delete the lower base ones. On a side note if you hunted krayt you would think that you would know by know that its always one yellow item and then then rest of the set has white text.

yeah next time just make factory runs of power handlers with your sets of base tissue. Store them in crates or whip them up in weapons to put on the vendor.
