Thread: Focus Thread. NGE on TC
I have a new concern...
" I have 9 respecs, the first will be to crafter and I will make everything I can so I will not need to use a crafter for quite some time. Then about 3 months later I will respec there again and do the same. I figure at this rate I will never need to buy anything, for quite some time."
Had this from someone who wanted to buy the "uber resources" for this and that weapon. ![]()

I had a look at that post, am I right here:
In order to 'master' weapons, you also 'master' armor and merchant? The way I am reading the tree is that it is linear...in order to get to 'melee weapons 3' you might have to go through 'armor layers' and 'business 3'
When Tiggs dropped the bomb in the original thread, she mentioned that one could specialize in a subcategory of trader...does that mean Munitions is the specialty? So if I want to 'specialize' in weapons, I also have to specialize in armor and merchant?
Soooo many questions and can't et n to TC
Yes. You'll be equal to a master WS / master AS / master Merchant and Master Artisan

What about FS weaponsmiths will we as trades be recognised for the effort we put in to get those damned mastery boxes or do we have to deal with critical fails again ?

I just hope that with no decay on weapons we will still get lots of sales from ammo.
I'm just going by what I read on some other posts that there will be ammo. I haven't talked with anyone from the tc who has used weapons so I don't know for sure if the ammo usuage is acutally there. I'm going to school now but when I get home this afternoon I'm going to try to get on tc and find out. Btw I'm in college so it'll be a serious test not a grade schooler testing ![]()
Have you guys seen the pic of Lando on the trader screens?

I can't keep a straight face when I see that! It just cracks me up something awful. You suppose that it is going to go live with that pic? At least I got a good chuckle out of this mess.
I need to see the screens a few more times to make up my mind. They look ok to me so far. Lando is so suave in the movies but it loses something on that screen.

Summer,
Perhaps you'd be able to address this concern with the Dev Team. Granted it's only the first day that TC has been uploaded with the new system, but I have been trying to log in for well over three hours now onto either of the Test servers. Currently they are running TC, TC2 and tomorrow will add TC5 but since they are enforcing a cap on the total number of players able to be logged in at one time, it is extremely difficult (and quite lucky) to be able to actually get into the testing area. We are competing with every other player for this limited TC access.
I have seen posts on the NGE forums where people are there spamming in protest, and in some cases, have actually gone to bed but remain logged in to TC to "reserve their spot". I may be in the minority in this opinion, but given that this essentially is a completely new system, it's necessary for us to go through and re-test everything from scratch (crafting basics, factory functionality, resource weighting, enhanced weaponry, etc). That being said, there's an extraordinary amount to test, and a finite amount of time in which to do it.
If possible, is there any way spots in the various testing servers can be "reserved" for people in TC for the explicit purpose of testing crafting ? I'm sure that testers for the other crafting professions are experiencing the same problem. How are we supposed to test anything, when we can't even log into the testing area ?
This has been brought to the attention of the devs.
There is no way to reserve spots for people. We the Correspondent have to stand in line like anyone else.
It is unfortunate, but it does seem like it is a technical barrier.
The devs are however roaming the TCs and kicking afk players along with spammers.
