Yup, now it's a choice between SAC or DPS.

Wow... I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this sort of reasoning seeing as it can be applied to pretty much everything in the game. As an example, by the same token pure crafters getting one-hit incapped when checking their harvesters is perfectly fair, it's their choice to be pure crafters.

no one has any better of a chance than another to gain the reward, and if you choose to go rebel that is your choice. i still don't see the "unfairness" in this.
see, now the REALLY scary part is... i actually agree with that statement.
why do i agree with that statement? because i understand the line of thinking by which they came up with it. at any rate, patch 17 allows you to apply camo to yourself to help deter MOBs from sensing and attacking you. you can, however, always go with the full proof back up of taking a a group of CL80s with you.
and if you are talking about checking harvesting fields laid down through cross server trades, remember, these ideas were not in the design of the Devs, so they owe us nothing to keep it going.

Then I'm doubly glad the job of a correspondent is to work with the issues raised by the community rather than his or her own opinion (yes, I know it's on the list you've made of issues), because if anything this is the single largest issue for crafters in general after the CU. I have yet to see a single pure crafter say "this isn't an issue" - well, possibly until now that is, I have no idea wether you're a pure crafter or not.

I don't see what lot-trades has to do with this at all, but if anything they are a very minor part of the problem seeing as with those, atleast you won't have to survey, place and redeed the miners, which is just as dangerous - if not more so - as simply managing them.
