all tuskens i have ever made and seen were all energy. they should be kinetic since they're slug throwers.

Fair enough.
The ones I made over the last couple of days all said Kinetic.
Now they've all changed to Energy.
Weird.

wow that it is weird, the ones I have always made and bought were energy..............they are still my favorite rifle to use and hear..............well, its a tie between the Tusken and Beserker.......

And for what it's worth, back in the beginning of the game, Tusken Rifles were actuallykinetic damage. I know because backthen, I ground tuskens for WS XP (that was before the days of the practice mode button). I saw more of those rifles than I care to think about, and I remember that their kinetic damage was one of my selling points, in the days where i had to actually convince each and every customer I sold to why they should by my weapons (/reminisce). I'm not sure why that would happen again after so long, but you may want to /bug it just in case it's a display issue.

See, I didn't know they did energy damage.
So I never took a screen shot, and now it's too late.
Ah well.
Though I did /bug it alright.

Me thinks somebody used an old schematic. If you still have it make some more and sell them in coronet for a very pretty penny. Guys the tka got those guns nerfed in the first place. They fear and loath them.
By the way put them in a droid storage compartment. Pretty sure the search and destroy will not locate them their.
Um by the way guys I have a kinetic tusken found it the other day in my attic they do exist. Shh do not tell the csrs they will hunt me down and steal my beloved tusken rifle.

Has no-one else noticed?
The Tuskan Rifle is doing Energy damage today.
All the Tuskans that I crafted yesterday now do Energy.
Prior to today, they all did Kinetic.
What's going on????
