Thread: Reference for Weapon Caps

not sure the cap on sac for carbines at the start of the thread is correct...u used to have 73 and u changed it to 72...
if anyone can verify I would appreciate it.... from messages left there may be a different SAC cap for different carbines.
Originally 73 was listed until people were getting 72 on some carbines.

The following weapons are missing from the main list:
Vibro Blade
2H cleaver
Vibro Axe
Lance
Long Vibro Axe
Vibro Lance
DLT20A
SG82
Spraystick
really had not added them to keep list reasonable in size... once someone find the caps for these I will be happy to add them. Unless of course you all wish me to add them to leep the list complete.

Hmm ...
being not very knowledge about crafting and not about slicing as well, but AFAIK damage slicing bonus is related to the min damage of the weapon, so it might be interesting to get a high crafted min damage to increase the effect of any slicing.
Is there information about the "min damage cap" ?
And great post!
I ll link to this from the Star Wars wiki
It seems the slicing cap is lower than the crafting cap. It is not possible with normal enhancers to hit the min cap damage on ranged weapons as the only enhancement used increases max damage and not min.
question for you all, I've crafted a Featherweight FWG5 with +161 shards, and the final combine max dmg was @ 935, after a 4% dmg slice, max is still 935...
is this a bug, or have we been nerfed again, or is this the new max for the fwg5...
I didnt get any warnings about not being able to apply a slice or maxing out dmg when crafting it... min did go up upon slicing...
any ideas are appreciated at this point...
Thanks
damn lower slicing cap...
thanks again

Should we start gathering and listing the slicing cap in the original post as well?
Personally I think that'd be a good idea - gather all information in one place.
I just became aware of the difference between crafting cap and slicing cap, so I have no data to contribute apart from what I read in another thread:
Crafting cap on a rifle is 1184... dmg cap on a slice is 1183
HC Scatter Pistol
Crafting cap = 948
Slicing Cap = 916
FWG5 Featherweight
Crafting Cap = 967
Slicing Cap = 935
Elite Mark2 Carbine
Crafting Cap = 1063
Slicing Cap = 1046
Just an FYI on slicing caps; It is possible to get the message regarding a weapon surpassing its maximum without reaching the max damage slice maximum value. There is also a minimum damage slicing cap that will provide this same message even when the maximum damage cap has not been surpassed.

i think the problem is is that unless you can craft a rifle to exactly 1089.28 max then your never going to get a 8percent slice to hit exactly 1184 im also under the impresion that the numbers after the decimal point are lost after crafting meaning youll never have a rifle that is 1184 after slice as the 8percent slice cant see the .28
as for other weapons im uncertain but will make a test thread in a few after some maths hehe
the other numbers you gave where the slice cap is drasticly below the max can id like to know if this the damage at which the smugler gave the item back saying he couldent slice it any more if so then it is not the cap just a weapon that was made too good to be sliced the full 8percent see the problem is that if you cant add the full 8 percent your cant do the 8percent slice at all

low end blaster power handlers look like they cap at 105damage
e11 rifles on the post say they cap at 592dmg but i made one that stopped moving at 510dmg
