Thread: Petition to stop CRAFTING NERF..>PLEASE SIGN AND KEEP ON TOP!
I suggest you only consider collapsing experiments to one stat of items that only had one adjustable stat to begin with (or zero, like tailoring).
If you are going to change crafting to a single optimizing pass, you might as well change it so there always is one and only one thing to optimize on products. Weapons would only offer damage optimization, armor effectiveness, food and medicine potency, and so on.
The crafting system has been super frustrating because of the inability to get 3 critical stats in the high ranks for making superior (or even desirable) products. Experiments have relaxed the critical nature of stats. Now you're forcing us to make products that have only one attractive feature and all the rest poor at best.
This change affects the economy, all crafters who experiment, all the weapon using professions, and as well medicine and food crafters (and users!). We're all going to hate life after this proposed change.
I wholehartedly agree this is the worst idea ever. If something in the game is unbalanced, this is throwing out the baby with the bathwater as well as chucking out the rest of the bathroom with it!
So... /sign
Okay, the way I have seen it...the crafting system is to be mainly based more off the stats of the resource making high quality resources better and I guess making the lower quality lower like it should. I CANNOT see how this is a nerf since they are trying to bring the rest of the experimentation stats (Efficiency, Durability, Range) up to par with Damage. I do not see it as a nerf being a weaponsmith that started in August, we have spent the time and money and worked hard at collecting, maintaining, and preserving our high quality, hard to find resources! Just because a lot of you expect "master" quality weapons upon making master is ridiculous because 90% of the battle is collecting the resources to make good stuff! I spent many months collecting and I am NOW finally am making above average weapons and because you guys don't have that kind of patience to stick to one profession, you guys are crying NERF! Now before crying NERF, give 3 good reasons why it is considered a NERF and one of the reasons better come from the mouth of a master weaponsmith that's been around since August or September.
There's my 2 cents.
