Launcher Pistol Max damage 264.50 (But I took SAC to 71 and think it would go lower,but i added some elemental instead

Then i got bored and crafted an Intimidator pistol
Max Damage 948.75
26.45% wound

Elite Carbine's Max Dmg caps at 1063.75

I recommend not crafting these. Speed is horrendous, just like before CU. and SAC is pretty outrageous too. I used the same components I've been using on all my other guns and speed came out nearly .5 slower and SAC was 121. That was with -6 on the APFM and -4 on the barrel.Stats like that usually get me in the mid 90's.

It's possible that the Tangle Pistol gives a root attack, but with Stopping Shot coming with the pistol stances I box it's almost completely useless for pistoleers. They'll be able to use much better pistols and get the root attack. As for other CL 30 toons, I just don't see that attack being worth the low quality of the Tangle Pistol.
It's mainly a personal choice I guess.

Hmm, there seems to be a wrinkle with the DXR6 carbine. I just went to make an ultralight version and was surprised to see that SAC capped at only 82. Interesting that it doesn't fall in line with the other carbs, but instead has a rifle SAC...due perhaps to its rifle-like 65m range?
Should we give the devs that much credit?

If you didn't get a system message stating you've maxed the cap ... you haven't reached the cap.
