Thread: Super easy and super uber grinding macro
this macro works like a champ on 1 machine for me. on the other it doesnt recognize this command
/ui action toolbarSlot 03;
i type /ui action in the command window and it says "missing parameter", so i know it's recognizing /ui action, but the word toolbar it doesnt. ive tried many capiptalization changes but nothing works. the only thing i can thik of is I had beta on the 1 machine where it doesnt work and not on the one where it does.
Nice macro though
MAN I'm glad you guys/gals have bumped this.
I have to become a Master Weaponsmith (holocron).
And I was not looking forward to crafting all the time.
This should work great for me.
THANK YOU!
Dude, i love your macro!! I changed it a little bit to suit my needsmade it a little bit more Noob friendly. I was like **edit** mates? when i first read it.Thought i would share with every one.
Ok to do this you will be useing the top row of F1 - F12 keys in the "first set" of your toolbar quickslots. Very importain to make sure it is the "first set" or it will not work.
You will have to make 3 macros. Pick a name for the macros - i used, 'wsmacro1' 'wsmacro2' 'dump' . You can use what ever you like.
Open the abilities window (Ctrl - a) then hit the macro tab. Hit new macro and give it a name. Then pick an icon for the macro. The icons mean nothing, they are just there to use as a pic to put in the toolbar quickslot.
Write this macro:
/ui action toolbarSlot03;
/selectDraftSchematic 57; <----- This number will diferent for you!
/pause 5; (This is where you double click to put in resources)
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot04;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot05;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot06;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot01; <--- this loops the macro
review the macro for spelling. Then hit 'ok' this will save the macro
Now hit new macro an give it a name and pick an icon (diferent one) then write this macro:
/ui action toolbarSlot07;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot08;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot09;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot10;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
/selectDraftSchematic 57;
/pause 5;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype practice no item;
/createprototype practice no item;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot00; (This calls Macro#1)
<-- this loops back to the first macro makeing this endless
save it.
now this is a endless macro so you will need a way to stop it. write this macro pick and icon and save it:
/dump
Ok now put macro#1 in F1 toolbar slot
put macro#2 in F2 toolbar slot
put the end macro in F3 toolbar slot
You will need 8 crafting stations now
put the crafting stations in F5,F6,F7,F8,F9,F10,F11,F12 toolbar slots.
now try the macro.
You can make this faster by changing the pause ( /pause 5; ) to 3 or 4 seconds.
*Caution* useing the 3 second pause is really hard, you will not beable to take your eyes off the screen. It is really fast but bruns you out fast.
I was useing this to make metal staffs.
You can use this to make about anything.
The /pause is the time the macro stops for you to load the resorces in the crafting station.
select draft schematic number can be found by useing Ctrl - d to open your data pad then hit the data tab. count the number of schematic in the data pad left to right & top to bottom. I counted down and 57 was the number where my metal stall schematic was.
Good luck.
Why have 2 macros? Cant u just put those all into one macro....i grinded through architect and tailor with a similar 8 crafting tool macro?

"Ok, i know this is in the FAQ, but I just want to extra clear on this matter before i go buy all of this, but from novice to master weaponsmith, the only resource I need is steel to make the projectile rifle barrels? "
Yes, am wondering this also.
I want to store up enough resources so I don't have to stop and go get some.
So what will we need to do this?
I THINK THIS SHOULD BE A STICKY ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is by far the most useful post I have found in my playing this game since release!!!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!
I can not get the /schematic command to work right on the 2nd crafting tool. It keeps pulling up the wrong schematic. On the first tool it open it up and macro does all its supposed to. But on the 2nd it pulls up a hunting knife.
The tools are all the same type, weapon/droid/genereic. But some i made and some i bought. Do different tools of the same type have different schematic #'s based on the order the skill was earned by the crafter of the tool?? (confusing eh?)
Any ideas??
Any help would be most apreciated.
