i use above average cubes and agents like 15 on both i think and the best carbonite steel and phrik al on kauri.
TheHacklooks a lot like the Scythe...only not as good. Other than the 'coolness' factor, I wonder why this was put into the game? Is it Medium or Heavy AP? If it's Heavy AP, then it would probably be worthwhile.

here you go
No offence but I make scythes better than that using 25/25 cores (I mean I would if I ever used them). This thing is about 1 second slower, has higher health cost, and the range mods are all over the place. About the only good aspect of this is that if the schem is farmable that it can be produced more readily than the scythe. Sometimes I wonder who it is codes this game. Obviously not anyone that plays it...
Fencers should have gotten a new toy IMO.
[edit] Sorry I'm not trying to put down the poster's work, and I value his info and screenshot. Not his fault the base stats on this thing are crap...
Yeah, this is a pretty pathetic addition to the game, unless we are looking at "post combat balance" numbers like they say the DE-10 has. Because from where I sit, this thing is junk. I managed to get 2 out of mine using a set of 6 looted 40/40/-0.592 cores... but a ONE USE schematic? Unbelievable.
This is a total gyp. Couldn't they have at least changed the materials requirements to make it different from the scythe, so that it at least LOOKED like they put some effort into it? Sheesh.
I am making my scythes with crafted swordcore schematics.
I loot 7 identical yellow or green cubes and making 4 scythes per schematic.
Nowsome question:
If I use 7 identical yellow cubes for the swordcores and 7 identical green cubes for the reinforcement cores,
do the increased condition stack to the reinforcement cores? (since they do not add to contition)
Its better to use crafted or looted agends?
I am not a ws, but need some info to give my order to my ws :-)
THX in advance
- You burn 1 set of cube/paste making the schem for the sword cores. A factory run will yield you 6 identical sword cores.
- You need 2 sword cores to make a scythe, so you burn 1 set of 2 cores to make your scythe schematic. The remaining 4 sword cores will make 2 scythes in a factory run.
b) Scythes only use sword cores. Reinforcement cores are for making "blunt" weapons like hammers and axes (not blunt, I know, but well...)
c) You cannot mix cubes in a scythe, cos the cores have to be identical.
d) Generally, crafted cores are much better, except for the very rare instances of uber core drops. And these are very rare.
- A Geo sword core made from base yellow cubes (10 dmg) and based paste (10 damage), with the best neutronium steel on Eclipse will end up at about +51/+51 to damage (all experimentation points to damage).
- A Geo sword core made from white cubes and no paste, with the best neutronium steel on Eclipse will end up at about +34/+34 to damage (all experimentation points to damage).
