Thread: Why do resource concentrations always seem to max out in the middle of a lake?

Lol. On Tatooine this isn't a problem, of course. Rather, I find the highest concentration is always in a Player City. Or the side of a mountain.

It's because you have angered the server gods! In retribution you must make 5 rocket launchers by hand, then you must take them to the bottom of the Tuskan Fort and destroy them while standing in the middle of the pool!
Sorry, but this is the only way.

You'll like this one d0qtrX. I was tracking that current Axidite iron which is on Endor. Endor -practically an empty planet right? I find a 95% spot of it, and it's just inside a damn battlefield and tapers off quickly. There's a thin ring of ~85% outside the battlefield, and goes down quickly from there.

Hehe, that's the metal I was bitching about. There's a nice concentration in the middle of the damnlake.
I ended up planting 4 heavieson a 60% because I was sick and damn tired of looking. Resources that don't spawn on Naboo irritate me... 
Did you try the newstuff yet? Did your APFM improve? This stuff is a couple % better than Lota, so I was hoping tohit 20/40 -.2.Unfortunately, my APFM is still 19/39 -0.39. At any rate it just *might* get that damn FWG5 below 2.0 if the decimals work in my favor.
/sigh... Lookslike the APDMcaps out at 20/40 -.2 but it may be impossible to reach unless *perfect* Axidite and Quadraium spawn.

Yep, I hit 20/40 with the new iron, don't recall the speed. Made handful 20/81 APFMsusing spider fangs, and now I'm just waiting for them to fix berserker barrels.

What Quadranium are you using? It must have juuust hit 80%.

In response to the resources being inside a battlefield, is there a chance of building inside battlefields? I live on Tatooine near the Krayt Graveyard. The battlefield there has harvesters in it at various times.

Perhaps those were there before it became a battlefield. I tried placing it inside the battelfield and was denied.

That is the absolute worst message ever invented. You're out in seemingly the middle of nowhere, find a great 90%+ concentration go to place those Heavies and BAM!!
"Building not permitted here"
So, you spend 20 minutes walking all around, surveying and attempting to place and....
"Building not permitted here"
You get frustrated and just start circling around and randomly jumping off your speeder...
"Building not permitted here"
Then, finally you get to build, you open up the harvestor and look at your concentration......
"48%"
Now, you must get up from your chair and cross the room to retrieve the mouse since you flung it against the far wall as you cursed the SWG gods/devs and settle for dropping a couple of heavies down on a measly 48% concentration.... of course, this one is at the base of a small valley, and you can only manage to get one built due to their large footprint......
Again, get up, cross the room to retrieve mouse, apologize to spouse/girlfriend/mother for hitting them as they entered the room, curse the SWG gods/devs AGAIN, contemplate abandoning Weaponsmith for master dancer/musician so you can AFK buff people all day without even being home... decide it's too much trouble to get rid of all the resources you already have, pull out survey tool and move on to your next target......
Rinse and repeat!!
And they wonder why we want to charge 10k for a pistol/rifle/whatever....

LOVE the "Building not permitted here" messages... LMAO!
At the least they should make the harvester Red/Green planting stamp STAY RED when building is not permitted.
