Thread: T21 question

ive been struggling to find a good t21 on my server, and i was wondering if a weapon smith could tell me what you need todo to max out the damage on one of these things? currently the best ones ive seen are 78-350 unstocked. so really 2 questions:

1) what is required to max out the damage potential on a t21, if you ignore ham.

2) whats the best t21 youve made pre slice?

Better polonium iron is the main part. The T21 is a gun that requires a really crappy metal in its final build and that is what most smiths consider to be its weakness. With a stock and scope one migh be able to get the damage to 400 but at a speed cost , would be 10.0 if your lucky. My average ones are 7.9 speed , 300 max damage.

Like for any weapon only thing that matters resources quality, for the weapon itself and for components, for the T21 itself you'd need high OQ/CD polonium iron and ditanium steel (note that polonium iron wont have above 80-100 CD and ditanium steel not above 480-500 normally), and high OQ alantium carb ore and gallinorian crys gems, also note that best weaponsmithes on your server should have them all at best quality that spawned on your server and you prolly wont find any better

my best unsliced T21 are 133-361, 7.3 with adv components and without stock, 162-391, 7.6 with stock

hope that helps

Roahi, are your stocks +30? I was wondering if stocks, unlike Krayt, dont directly translate into the final product. My T21s are 368 max dmg before a stock and 399 with a stock. The stock itself is +40. I just noticed this and was wondering if my schematics needed to be re-made.

IvoSparc, did you get a moderate success when you made the stocks by chance? I found it that the statsthe examine window saysare not reliable when you got a moderate success in experimemtation. I had a scopewhichwas a result of moderate success and said it add 0 to each HAMbeforebut it actually added 5 to HAM costs. and I'm making 173-402dmg stocked T21 with 39-39 stock. without a stock, it has 133-362dmg.

T21's don't have scope slots...Keep dreaming Pirassi.

actually the best regular T21s on our server have 360dmg and if you got a 30%dmg slice on it that woudl make it 468 dmg. then when u add the 33% powerup it brings it to 622 so this 1 still beats it by 80 points

i only used 40 .4 tissues in it. nothign to special on tissue. i did have 11 of a higher tissue but i got a little chicken

And to the original poster, first of all, you need to prepare resources with best quality possible. T21 takes Ditanium Steel, Polonium Iron, metal of any type, Alantium Carbonate Ore and Gallinorian Rainbow Crystalline Gemstone. Each resources has a potential maximum numbers on each of their properties. For T21 which sees conductivity and overall quality to determine the result of assembly, you need to know that the ideal values of CD and OQ to tell a given resource is good or not good enough. I have some numbers on myself, these are from my experience so you can't rely on this 100%. But I hope this helps.

* max. reported(ideal number by guess)

Ditanium Steel CD 475 (500) / OQ 999 (1000)
Polonium Iron CD 144 (150) / OQ 953 (1000)
Metal ( Polysteel Copper is recommended ) CD 1000 (1000) / OQ 990 (1000)
Alantium Carbonate Ore CD NA(NA) / OQ 986 (1000)
Gallinorian Rainbow Crystalline Gemstone CD NA(NA) / OQ 1000 (1000)

Ditanium Steel and Polonium Iron are most critical since they are used most in quantity.

Now for the maximum damage, you'll need to add an advanced stock. It takes Link-steel Aluminum and Corellian Decidous Wood with high Shock Resistance. The highest Shock Resistance I've seen on link-steel aluminum is 824, and I guess the limit is 830. And the Shock Resistance on Corellian Decidous Wood is limited at 700.

After the all above ingredients are prepared, it's time for experimentation. Experimenting T21 itself is same as other weapons, but experimenting on an advanced weapon stock is a little bugged and the result is quite unpredictable. How to avoid this is describe well in another post by another weaponsmiths. best way i've seen is to put 6 points first and put the whole remaining points afterward.

I was a bit fortunate and stillhad a few 100 exceptionally lucky rifle barrels to use for these...

T21-s Rifle - 178-404 (7.5) 41.1% w -70/18/10 r 66/60/99h - Energy / AP3 - With stock and unsliced...

Barrels were 16/16 -.46 and made the diff on these. I haven't been able to duplicate the schematic with the same resources in over 200 attempts.

Wow your weapons aren't that good

BIG THING TO ACCOUNT FOR no matter how much experminitation you have you'll cap out what your resouces will allow you to do, best way to go about makeing them

best resouces, get the uberest stock you can, then what you do is put points back into efficieny (prey for good experminting) till you get ham down to reasonible, I mean to non-stocked version..... apply the other points into damage, a master rifleman shouldn't be concered about speed with the damage they get with one and a power up, infact I know a chick that hit for 13k with one.... and they get good speed mods any how, the ARP3 alone makes all the difference in the world

btw I'm not even a weaponsmith
