I have a whole backpack of these things - i currently can find no real use for them at all. Am i missing a trick here? I have plenty of green and yellow ones - and use those for all the usual suspects:
yellow - scythes etc,
green - disruptors and geo blasters
But the red - who needs ham reduction (answer: no-one).
I am going to save them tho - as i wonder if they might be more handy after the CURB
Can anyone enlighten me here?

Cheap DXRs.
I also make cores for scythes/hacks with stacks of 7 sometimes. With the agents the scythes still come out in the 330s I think...not really sure. Really, I find that the 10 extra damage from yellow cubes isn't really make or break to a scythe. It's still 90% slice and 10% components.
Wish it wasn't that way really, but I've made so many 350-360 dmg scythes that slice speed and sell for almost nothing and ghetto red cube/base agent scythes that slice to the 420-430 range and sell for a lot that I don't really bother with paying a million more to make a scythe with 20 more base damage. Even without a slice, it's hard to explain how that little bit more damage costs a ton due to the craze over above base components.
But basically, DXR schems are so easy to get, and since any DXR will sell for pretty darn good profits, you might as well make a bunch of those. I used to stock them at like 50k each and I couldn't keep the darn things stocked. I've even heard from smiths that sell white cube DXRs for 75k. That's just nuts.

You guys pretty much covered it. They can also make pretty decent geo blasters. I've been so swamped with schems, I"ll make them up out of a set or 5 or 6 cubes, get them sliced and you can get some pretty good results. Then it's easy to sell off the cheapies for 50k or so.

Yeah i knew ws could use em........... do we think here tho that they might become more useful to us after curb when people need to balance ham more? or is there effect for us so slight that its not a big impact?

the best use of Red cubes for WS's currently is to try and trade them off to the AS's for some good green/yellow ones

Never had any, so i never use any.
Unless you are doing a Low HAM run of anything, they are pretty irrelevant.

somthing to point out, after the cu, reds will be usefull as we will have a new "special" bar, and during combat that bar cannot be replentished... therefore the only way to be able to use more specials is to lower the specials cost on the weap.. somthing to think about.
