Ok, so from what I can find on the forums, the certification for the Modified (may) come with Pistols 3 under the Marksman profession. The proper Republic Blaster comes with Novice Pistoleer. (I'm assuming in both cases that they are crafted in the current publish, 8). Is this information correct? If so, why does the certification not show up in the Weapon Certs box on the Skills screen? Is that bugged or just not showing for some reason?
I'm Marksman 0404 and Pistoleer 0010.

Yes, that information is correct. When I asked why the certs didn't show up like normal certs, I got a non-answer. Apparently it's a technical challenge. I see no reason it shouldn't be fixed that way in the future, but it's a low priority at the moment.
I think this was just a quick and dirty way of putting new pistols into the game, and they'll go back and give them real certifications later.

That's just a bit more than my mod republic blaster, and I don't think mine is exceptional, so I'd say it's not that abnormal. Is it sliced and/or does it have a powerup?

Oh. It is sliced without a powerup... was wondering because this smith has made several "questionable" weapons that seem kinda like they are multisliced. Was wondering if mine was because damage seemed really good for a non krayted repub.

Just from the looks of it, the attack speed is normal, and the damage has been sliced a good 25-28%.

Has modified republic blaster cert changed? I made 2 crates of modified republic blasters and it still says when examining it that it needs marksman pistol III, but i tested it with my BH and 2 of my guildmates tested it too and it sayd that you dont have skills to use it.
Then i looked up pistoleer who tested it and it didint say that he cant use it.

Technical challenge? to type in a string for certification in the weapons database? they could have the intern do that, but I hear he's busy fixing allthe bugsin JTL. lol

I bought one when I first went Novice Pistoleer. I tried to equip it once when I was 0/0/3/2 Pistoleer and got the message that I wasn't certified to use it. Then I tried it again when I was 0/2/4/3 and it allowed me to use it. Maybe it's a mistype and it really is 0/0/0/3 Pistoleer.
My main weapon is a Modified Republic, and it works fine for me. I've been using one since I first picked up Novice Pistoleer (I've gone through 4 now). In fact, I dont think I've even used a standard Republic, just the modified one (love those bleeds)

The smuggler master box hasn't been documented. Ever. Same with the underworld tree. Don't count on getting the certs documented. Apparently it is a challenge to write text.
