"Methods for getting Geonosian Sword Cores:

Easiest Method - Loot the standard ones off of Geonosians in the cave. They have 25-25 damage.

Harder Method (Makes much better cores!) - Find a Geonosian Sword Core schematic from a Geonosian.

Components Required to make Geonosian Sword Cores

Neutronium Steel (Unit Toughness)
1 Power Core
1 optional Core Enhancing Agent

NOTE: Since you need two identical sword cores for a Scythe you will need THREE identical Power Cores due to one being taken to make the factory schematic (and enhancing agents should you choose to use them.)" - ccmetal555

If i was to get the sword core schematics, how many would i need for to get 2 sword cores?

I have looted solidifying agent. stats - damage 13, unit integ 845. Is that exceptionally good? or should i continue looting?

I have looted 3 same cubes. stats - base effect 3%, min dmg 11, max dmg 16. Are they exceptionally good? or should i continue looting?

Your best bet and one most of us weaponsmiths seem to do is hold off to find 7 yellow cubes and 7 solidifying agents.

Take one of each along with the Neut Steel.. do the best you can and make a schematic for 6 core.

Run those off ina factory so they all have the same serial number.

Take your Carb Steel and 2 of your 6 sword cores. Make the best Scythe you can make via experiments and produce yet ANOTHER schematic for 2scythes to go intoa factory. Take the steel and the remaining 4 cores and the schematic you just made and run the two Scythes off in the factory.

This gives you 2 scythesand only uses oneof the two uses of the scythe schematic.

You can get away with 3 cubes and 3 agents. But you only get 1 scythes per use that way. (a waste if you ask me)

The max damage 16 cubes are decent and can produce a scythe with 340(ish) max damage (depenind on your servers materials)

Iwould rather use base yellow cubes in sets of 7 than waste the schematic to only make one blade that has +6 more max damage.

Same thing goes for the solidifying agents.

Hold off to get sets of 7,

Oh... and sets of 6 looted cores can produce 2 scythes for one use of the schematic. They have to be darn good though to even bother.

(Out of the game for a long time, only came back last week. Wow, lots of stuff's changed.)

How good is "darn good"? I found a set of six looted 37-26/-0.52 geo sword cores so cheaply I couldn't resist buying 'em. But I'm not averse to waiting for a while.

I plan to do the Scythe quest shortly. Can you still reset Tatooine and do the quest a second time? (If I can no longer reset Tatooine, should I hold off until I come up with the 7/7 sets)

As long as we're on the subject: Anything worthwhile to do with six pastes (14/785) and six yellow cubes (13/somethingorother)?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Well, the drops of 7 pastes and 7 yellows is very rare now. Pretty much nerfed. You were lucky to pull a drop of 6.

The 6 of each that you have can be used to craft 4 geo sword cores. Then use the last of each to make a geo re-core and throw that in a hammer, gaffi, or stun baton.

The looted cores you found wouldn't be considered "darn good." A scythe made with them will lose a good chunk of damage on top and bottom.

neither the cubes or the agents are exceptional... they are better than base but not the best

many people are asking for scythes crafted with green cubes for the increase in condition - it seems thata significant partof the swordsman damage comes from the specials anyway

Indeed. I recommend this for any weapon that cubes are used in.

Has anyone tested this recently,I did when the geo stuff first came out and found that since the core(which the cube goes into) doesn't have condition stats the bonus didnt carry threw to the final assembly of the weapon.

Now I know it works great for weaps where the cube is used in final assembly but not on the subcomponents...at least when i last tested this
