Hey hey all -
It is a horrible day - and i need some advice or help or both

Just bought a CA from a cool guy ... The CA is Weapon Expirimentation +11 and Heavy Weapon Speed +15 ....
Here is the problem - - i inserted the CA into my Weaponsmith Tool Belt - ONLY the +15 Heavy Weapon Speed transferred. I sent in bug report ... but, has this happened to anyone else? It is killin me! Woulda been the famed 12 point WSmith ... but POOF! Presto deleto - +11 is GONE!
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I thought only the highest number sticks. In order for the 11+ ws stuff I think you would need to find a heavyweapon speed 15 item and then use your AA for the ws thing to stick.

So the CSRs will be able to nothing for me? LOL
Or is there a way to remove attachments?
And thank you for posts - just gearing myself up to sell the bandolier for the +15 Heavy Weapon Speed LOL@@@

You're hosed. :/ CSRs usually do nothing with things like this.
In the future you might want to research stuff like this a bit more before you act...especially with SEAs this high. There have been many threads made about how to get mods to stick, and what mods will stick.

I did that with a +4 WS attachment a long time ago that also had a +5 Carbine Aiming. CSR basically said tough luck but to hold onto the item as when they fix the clothing attachments the "extra" mods might show up.

First thing you have to do is spend a little time doing some reading about skill tapes. You can most likely salvage the +11 ws exp if you can find a +16 HW speed which will probably cancel out the +15 HW speed on the first tape. I know it works in reverse, not sure about this way. Also why would you want to put the tape in a toolkit? That doesn't make any sense because the mods maynot stack, so either the +11 won't stick at all, or it will cancel out the +3 WS exp from the toolkit. I doubt you would get it to +14 but even if you could, why would you? The goal of most smiths is to eliminate the need to wear the toolkit since it prevents you from wearing a backpack while crafting to tying a +11 tape to the tookit would make it so you'd always have to use the toolkit.

You would have had to put in a Heavy Weapon +15 or more for the WS to stick. It's gone forever

what about a -1 tape? Or do those have to be inserted BEFORE you try to put the tape you're trying to cancel?

First of all you can't put ANY (well it would be silly) WS EXP tape into a WS Bandoleer, you'd lose your +3 exp anyway and it would be overwritten. Items do not "hide" values. Adding a +15 HWS would not bring the +11 back. Sorry man but it is toast.
