I'm just curious.
How would minimum damage being higher than maximum damage affect the weapon?
Would itdo that minimum with every hit?
It basically negates damage mitigation.

And thus is looked upon as an exploit ![]()
Just let the CSR reverse them

Eew, I see.
Thanks for the heads up.
Are acklay bones the only thing that do this? Can this happen with other components?

yellow cubes can be upside down as well, but these are not considered expolits. as one person stated, the issue is the difference between min/max. a 302min 280max stun baton will always hit for 302 * the multiplier, where as 280-302 would have some fluctuation. Mitigation works 20% - 40% - 60%. if you have mit three it lowers the total dmg range of the weapon by 60%. a 200-300 min max weapon would be a kin to a 200-240 min max weapon.
it would take a bone of 400/100 to make a seriously screwed up power hammer.
I stared dead down at a pile of ackley bones sitting on the floor in a PA hall today and the stats were 178-90, interesting of how that would go into a stun baton.

LOL a 400-100 bone in a PH, scary thought. As far as I know sword/reinforcement cores are fine with reversed stats, I have used 45-39 and 55-46 cores in Cleavers, Powerhammers, Gaffi sticks and stun batons and all the stats came out fine (like a Cleaver 3.4 118-253 or stun baton 2.5 98-158).

Dunno if cores and cubes with reversed stats are illegal or not, but when I had an acklay bone reversed it was in a bag with cores with reversed stats and the CSR reversed the stats on the cores too... Dont know what to make of it, but it seems as if they were not supposed to have higher min dam than max dam.

well nothing is "supposed" to have reverse stats because they reduce mitigation. however, as long as it is not "combat breaking" csrs have not confiscated weapons made with reverse stat items. now, take a 302-310 stun for example. this stunner would be confiscated because it breaks mitigation. take this same bone and put it in a power hammer and you get something like 350-650. this is not combat breaking so it really won't give rise to suspicion. it is, however, still illegal according to game rules because the bone was upside down.
bottom line is.. if youhave an upside down item, get it flipped. theer is no reason to take the chance and get it taken away, or worse yet banned.
