Getting tiresome I know however I posted this on the community relations forum. Explains how cu effects WS.

that kinda sucks, I went on CU yesterday and made a 977max damage Power Hammer, but it won't do more damage... great...

this all makes me very sad......
All the time and effort plugged into this game, which has added to the community, the spirit and the camararderie we have here in SWG, looks like its going to melt away pretty quickly....
Can someone tell me this isnt the way its going to be?
And i read elsewhere (just to depress people even more) - that the CU if its coming out with Wookie expansion will already have been burnt onto CDs - so we are pretty much stuck with the basics and only have a chance for a few 'bugs' to be fixed.

Noooo! I can't find the words to describe how disappointed I will be if this is true.

Probably true. And, I'm assuming that the CU will be in the digital download of RotW being released on May 5th. If so, the CU will go live on May 5th at the latest, if not earlier.
As for the worry about no bugs being fixed on the GA release, that's not a problem: don't forget the lauchpad will download the latest set of patches. So, even though the RotW CDs are already being burnt, the state of the CU on the CDs won't really matter.

What I meant tho Vade, mate was that the bulk of the CU has been built and we only have patches as a way of amending the core engine....... which really means that our concerns and worries wont even get a look in......
Anyone know of any cool games coming out we can all move to en masse?
If only there were a customer complaints line......

Agreed. Which is why I think it pointless for people to ask SeaRaptor to fight this.

For MMO's, I have some friends involved in the beta of Guild Wars, which sounds cool, but, from the sounds of it, it is just another combat level based system.

Might be pointless, but if our correspondent doesntbring our conserns to the devs theres no hope at all.
I still have a shimmer of hope that this will all get sorted, thou as the day of release grows closer I get more and more conserned. Would be nice to get some Dev response to the issues we have risen...

Good point. SeaRaptor has been very quiet.
