i just got a +9 tape for the nice price of 27 mil

Looking at these prices I feel very very lucky.

Made Master Weaponsmith 2 days ago, I'm close as close to skint as I've ever been due to the grind & building up of resources.

An old-PlanetSide guildmate popped by my Vendor and dropped of a cloak of Weap Experimentation +6 / Alertness +4, and refused to take annything for it

Now where the hell am I going to find the other +14's(+19?) worth

Where do these drop? I know they are rare, but whats the best place for skilltape drops?

Tempest had a +11 for for at least 30 million last week...at that point it was taken in game. I"ve heard rumors it reached 50 million.

You have to realize maybe 1-2 weaponsmiths on your server can offer that kind of money. After they get their tapes they won't need anymore. The next highest bidders probably won't offer as much.

where do these tapes drop? and what drops them? any kind of info would be great thanks

I doubt the idea that these tapes will go down in price. One weaponsmith in Bria recently bid 15 mil on a tape while at the same time acknowledging he already had a full set. I guess he was just bored and didn't care for any competition. WS experimentation tapes have become the new holocrons. Your best bet is to hook up with some combat types and hope you can loot them. I think, but do not know, that they drop from Nym's men on Lok.

Lord Nyax usually drops highly rated skilltapes. Much better than the tapes found in the camping caves.

i looted a +11 tape in the force caves on dant. it had two mods on it but i applied it anyway. got a +11 weapon experimention belt now on ahazi. would like to get more + mods of any stat but have been unabel to find any and i sure can t afford the 1million + a point they are goin for on ahazi

Yeah, Jei and I went crazy for that thing. In the end, I bowed out, as I wasn't bidding solely with my money anyway, and I felt it wasn't worth it all those millions when I could assemble the same experimentation bonus from a variety of smaller tapes cheaper.

hehe, guess I got you all beat then, I got my +12 weap exp tape from a good friend for a mere3.5mil...still trying to help him get a good dmg sliced krayt T21 in thanks (had 2 speed slices and a crit fail so far, +72 tissues on the crit fail ).

The prices of these skill tapes is getting out of hand. A kind soul donated +11 in several tapes to me, and if it weren't for that, there is no way I could ever get my hands on them without looting them myself, which as happened once for me.

Just FYI, a +5 went for 15 million to an unnamed bidder on Tempest today as well.
