Just wanted to let everyone be aware, quoted from Thunderheart, "I talked to the dev who put together the nightsister cave and we're going to get that sword in as a loot drop in January and as a limited draft schematic."

I believe it is limited time, and that scythe beats every **edit** sword I matter no matter the experimentation or resources.

Trean, how can you say that when the thing hasn't appeared as either a crafted item or loot drop... ever...?

Bear in mind the thing that was being waved round the swordsman forum was called a 'two handed sword'.

I'm not sure exactly what this limited schematic means. It's either limited per server or for a limited time.

that sword didnt really look it a scythe, it was sweet tho, but it was really a NPC weapon (weapons that have close min and max dmg) i think if you have a faction pet and go into a cantina and type some command you canexaime their weapons which are weapons like 150-160 dmg and stuff. I wouldnt be suprised if they really do end up adding that weapon to a normal loot table but they mightl change the dmg.

There is another topic on this forum about scroll that will allow a weaponsmith to make one night sister energy lance...
My guess is that is what TH meant when he said the sword would go in as a limited schematic.

and to reiterate the answer; no you can not currently get a scythe from any quest, weaponsmith or loot drop.
