Hi, all. I was wondering if someone might know where to get a nice DXR-6B rifle on the intrepid server? I'm looking at one now and here are its specifications:
DXR-6B unsliced
640/640 condition
5.8 attack speed
193 min and 360 max damage
range modifiers:
_____ -72 @ 0m at point blank
_____ +109 @ 54m ideal
_____ +13 @ 64m max
special attack cost:
_____ 76 health
_____ 81 action
_____ 103 mind
I'm in the market for buying one, maybe two to have a backup, but the cost for this one is 306000 credits ... to me that seems expensive ... but is it? Is this rifle worth that much? What specifications would you recommend for a DXR-6B rifle that can be used at long range without effecting the mind much, as well as causing significant damage to a creature (will be used as hunting mostly, PvP later on).

I don't know about Intrepid, but I bought my 4.1 speed 140something -360something for 150k on Shadowfire...sounds like a ripoff to me; search other weaponsmiths

306000 is pricey, even for a DXR.I would definitely look around.

Don't buy that rifle. Whoever is selling it is trying to rip people off. That rifle is not even remotely close to being worth 300k. I wouldn't pay over 70k for that thing. The DXR-6b is, in my opinion, the best rifle in the game. If you are going to PvP, you can't fine a better weapon. If you like hunting Rancor, it's the best rifle for the job. The rifle stats you see there are for what I consider a grinding rifle, i.e. I'd use it to grind out XP or do missions. PvP rifles shouldhave a highermax damage than what you're seeing there. At any rate, I'd recommend a DXR to anyone, but don't pay what that guy is asking. 70-140k is about what you should expect to pay for a regular DXR..at least on my server anyway.

I just had two DXR-6b rifles custom made with imperial stocks and green geonesian cubes.
bear in mind this is off the top of my head.
Ham - 33 / 33 / 56
Accuracy - -70 / 101 / 13
Max Damage - 334
Speed - 5.1
Condition - 869/869
I got 28% and 26% damage slices to get max damage of 427 and 420
I like the risk of unbuffed hunting ... so these are fantastic for me.

Well I absolutly love my rifles <3 hehe btw they all have pup's
stats are
7.4speed
363min
938max
with 38mind cost 
hehe I strafe Lord Nyax for 6.6k actual damage
the other 2 i have are about
5.4speed
211-666
6.3speed
217-567
these are my backups that i use to kill animals and other random NPC's
But i use my nasty rifle to shoot Nyax only or occasional pvp
for elders i have a T21 thats
6.9speed
253-780dmg
for this i used 77damage krayt tissues and got a 21% damage slice, its awsome i can outdamage any jedi on most things LOL , i did it to the strongest dark jedi on my server on a Canyon Krayt

That price is what a dxr6 may have gone for 4-5 months ago, but prices have dramatically dropped recently. I have a couple looted dxr6's with about the same stats on my Loot Locker vendor at the Coronet location in my signature - not 100% on the prices, but considerably less than what you're looking to pay. I also stumbled across a vendor with a massive amount of looted dxr6's yesterday close by my shop with ridiculously cheap prices. The name of the shop was B.M.S.T.T.R. Enterprises, just south of Coronet at 124, -5515. While you're in the area of our shops, I'd also recommend checking out the different weaponsmiths in the area and seeing the stats on their crafted dxr6's. The benefit of crafted dxr6's is usually higher condition and often times better range mods. I know that Sonics, in my shop used to carry a lot of dxr6's.

If you would prefer, you could just go loot your own.
Yavin 4, Geo Caves. Get into the Merc room and wait. A few months ago, this took an hour or so, but now with just 2-3 spawns there, it may take a couple hours. After that, you should have a nice array of good DXR6bs with very low ham costs, and very good damage.

Don't buy that rifle, the condition on it is terible. the max is fairly typical, and so is the speed, but you should never be paying over 150k for a DXR6b with less than 1000-1200 condition. Unless it's go like 900 max, but that's unlikely.
Anyway, in this case, don't buy that thing. At least not for more than 75k

i have a looted schematic and a set of krayt tissues, +81 -0.455,
firstly is 8 enough to make the rifle???
secondly what sort of stats an i looking atwith +81 tissues??
and also is there any other componants i can get like cubes?? what colour?? and whats a good stat for them???

You need 5+1 tissues, so you'll have 2 left over.
Stats depends on the resources available on your server.
Yellow for damage, green for condition, red for HAM. Base for each is 10/10, 250, -4/-4/-4, so you'll probably want higher than that. Normally you wouldn't use red cubes.

You need 6 identical tissues with 2 identical cubes, preferably yellow (+max dam), although green (+condition) work well too.
As for speed and damage there's really no way of telling, we'd need more information regarding if you're using advanced power blaster handlers, advanced stocks, barrels, and how good your crafting resources are. If you use dirt resources, these krayt additions will pretty much be negated, although it's safe to say an average DXR could come out with around 450 damage, give or take depending on quality and crafting success, with a speed in the area of 3.8 - 4.2.
I'm doing this from memory, can someone correct me if the speeds and damages are wrong?
