Thread: honest opinion on my krayt scout
ok last night i built a krayt scout with 30 damage -.30 speed tissue
best one i made is 77-180 1.6 speed , 1026/ 1026 durability, dont remeber mods, 11/23/11 hamms. this is unsliced. what yall think? and what should i sell it for?

In terms of scout, that is a fairly good stat unsliced. I've gone through 20 tissues on scout and seen only around 180 - 186 max damage with tissue on them
With a good slicing, you could bring it up to 240 - 250 max damage which I've gotten a fewtimes.
Tyronet City InformationBTW: in terms of selling it, a normal slice around 210 - 220 was able to sell it around 120k. However on a good slicing of 240 - 250, i was able to sell easily around 250 - 280k
Adjust accordingly based upon sliced result.
so do u think i should get it sliced beofre i try to sell it? was thinkin to sell it unsliced due to the unknowns of slice outcome.

Im not a WS, but as a Master Smuggler and Slicer/Affecianado (sp?)of fine pistols, 80 dmg per second makes that a very nice weapon. I would expect to pay 15-20k on chilastra for it unsliced.

You mean an un-krayt version right? It is impossible to buy on between 15-20k for a Krayt sliced version.
If the sliced come out speed, that is still good since you could now use a pistol with faster speed than 1.0. If it turned out sliced speed, you could still sell them for approx 120k easy....i've done as high as 150k on it and still able to sell them.
Out of 20 blasters I've have Krayt and sold...they are all sliced. I only sell sliced items. How I price my items is based upon the slicing.
If sliced speed, I usually price it lower, but if sliced damage, I usually price it higher. The more rare the slicing result in %, the higher the price I pick.
Unless you are slicing something like VK, then speed slice always rules!
ok im startin to really like scout blasters with krayts. i built a few more last night with abetter tissues : )
base stats before slices were 77-200 1.1 got 2 of them with 34% damage slices, with a power up max damage went to like 360 or so, at work so cant give exact stats. got some with speed slices so now the speed on them is like .6 and .7
i thought the hard cap was 1.0? anyone got more info on that? thanks again

It doesnt matter to me if it's Krayt or not. I just look at the stats. A 77-180/1.6 aint worth all that much on chilastra. It's a very nice weapon, but not a unique. I wouldnt cry if it poofed during a repair.
Now, for those just posted... Very nice. I WANT ONE!!!! 77-200/1.1 = 126 dmg per second. I'd prob pay 50-75k for one unsliced.
BTW, my understanding is that the lowest you can ever fire after all mods is 1 per second. (Are there mods in combat that slow you down?) Because most players who buy expensive weapons have planty of speed increases already, I'd prefer a high damage gun with a speed somewherebelow 2.

yeah i prefer guns along the same line. when i built these i had no idea that base speed would be 1.1, i am pretty happy with myself. i made 7 of them at once, all by hand and all came out to the same damage and speed of 77-200 1.1. had them all sliced, got 2 at 34%damage, 2 more more at around 23 and 25 % damage, and the last 3 got speed. unfortuantely im on ahazi. gonna try to auction one to two tonight and see what happans. i saved 2 of the ABPH for a republic blaster but i have to wait till i can score some nice plumbum iron. anyway thanks for all your input, i appreciate it.

ok, my guildie a master pistoleer/smuggler ahs given me alittle feedback on the scout.

The Ham costs are great and with my specials.....on one poor imperial officer I hit him with back to back hits of 3300 and 3700!!! Those are some awsome weapons you made bud. My suggetion to you......farm as many of those **edit** dragons as you can before the next big patch!! From what I've seen slicing and shopping for pistols, those scouts you made last night are the best pistol going atm bar none!
just wnated to post this because this is exactly what my goal is... to build good guns
people of ahazi look for these scouts to go up for auction tonight : )
