the lowest level krayt tissues are +30 so that would fit just about right though anything krayt with a high dmg slice would probably be worth more than the 250k.
The way to check double slicing is to compare the minimum damage. There is no type of enhancement for the minimum damage on blaster based rifles currently. A very well made rifle on the temp nerf day may have a slightly higher min damage than normal so no way to be 100% sure now. But the odds are if the min damage is the same % better than a standard laser as the max damage then its a double slice.
Oh I asume it isn't just being sold with a powerup on it?
Most good weaponsmith will write the original stats in the name of the weapon which makes a double slice very easy to spot.

Okay i have reached a rifle of this stat, and no krayt tissue even needed. All you need is four power handler enhancers. I think they come from a themepark. They all have the same serial so make a schematic and use the three for a laser rifle. Also if recollection serves a master smuggler can reach up to fourty percent on a slice.
I am guessing at that pice the weapon is made with power handler enhancers imperial stock. Probabally also a high calibre barrel. These combined with a good slice will reach those stats.
If this is the case you are getting a bit robbed for this gun. Since it is only useing six quest

Dodece... I have beena master smuggler for three months:
--On weapons, slices range from 15% up to 35% max. No more. (speedor damagehave same range)
-- However, on Armor, ENCUMBERANCE slices can get up to 45%
--but EFFECTIVENESS slices can only reach 35%.
Everyone is missing the obvious one here that it is a patch-day Laser rile using patch day components. Since my normal stocked laser hits 440 max unsliced I'm guessing that the patch day could have upped that by another 20-30 (or more depending on the link-steel/copper on Eclipse).
If it's krayted I'd expect it to say so in the title description, and to be selling for a lot more than 250K...

Patch day improvements weren't that big, it'd probably be +10 at most. The BPH enhancers are like +20 max or something, so even with a +40 stock they wouldn't give 475 unsliced. Also, master smuggler weapon max is 35%. Armor gets 40-something.
Easiest way to check for multi-slicing is to look at the min damage.
