Thread: Devs, take a second and read this
not yet, but was my thought after writing this.
Thing is, that defeats the purpose of having crates of 25.
I have had the same problem, so I no longer make munitions, at this time.
I found that I could pull out as many or all the mines, as I wished at one time, but if I didn't empty the whole crate at one sitting, then the next time I tried to use it it gives me that error. I have reported it, my customers have reported it.
Apparently it is caused by using the entire schematic up making the product. The error is caused when the program can't find the schematic that created the items, and assumes the items are invalid. Not surewhat happens if you keep the schem around, say make it for 101 items and only make 100...
No idea why they would put something so stupid in the game, but this IS SWG. (This is what happens when you hire 15yr old programmers at min wage, I guess)
yeah, exactly what Okeefe said about the programmers.
DEVS!!!!! you gonna fix this crap? I have resources tied up in CHIT i cant sell
On mines:
t's been stated on here several times that this is an avoidable bug. If you intend (or your customer intends) to donate a mass amount, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO CRATES OF MINES IN ANY LEVEL OF YOUR INVENTORY. What is happening is that the crate is being donated (the code mistakes it for an actual mine) and is then bugged. If you are donating, then the only way to do it safely is to unpack ALL the mines from a crate first and proceed. Pian in the a$$ I know, but better than a waste of resources.
On factory hoppers, and "internal_manf_error07":
I've come to the conclussion that this is some sort of code to do with factories (or their deeds) being produced before Architects were given the experimental storage capacity facility. I have both my factories' input hoppers at about 90/100 capacity and often when doing a large run (ABPHs or whatever) I get an internal error mail. I clear some space from either input or output and this solves it until the spaces fill up again. Just another storage issue you need to learn to cope with I'm afraid.
Hey just be thankful you're not me: prior to somerecent patch my medium naboo which I use as my shop and storage/crafting workshop was displaying 145 items on the Status screen. Imagine my surprise when the patch changed it so that the contents of my 6 backpacks were displayed and counted. Turns out I had 283 items and now I can't take resources out of a pack and put it back in again. My furnished main room and weapons wall has to go, only it breaks my heart to do it after the time I spent arranging the stuff. But it's either that or drop a house a few 100m away from it and my factories and spend all my time running between them when crafting or doing factory runs...
jeez, wertz. I got like 6 meds and a Large and I am almost out of space. Although I only have resources in my Workshop(large house) and one med house. I keep the extra 100k stacks in the med house, anythign less goes into my workshop inthe same backpack arrangement as in my storage(med) house.
Point is the GD mines are BUGGED, SOE NEEDS to FIX them

I think what I'd like to see done if and when they decide to fix this is that you could actually donate a crate with a fixed number in it to the field instead of the timesink that exists now, where you need to both juggle your inventory around to unpack individual ones, and then go through the process of individually donating them...
