Thread: Another pic of exploited hammer. Alot more of them are out there.

I guess the devs just dont care though. This guy was even dumb enough to put the title of this weapon on Imgaedump as -X-ploited weapon too.

My guess is it is probably a precu adk's hammer and not an exploit. I had two precupowerhammers that converted to over 1200 damage. Powerhammers were the one item, for me,that had very strange conversions. Some of mine converted to 750 damage, some to over 1200, and they had basically the same stats precu. I just chalked it up to the brilliance that is SOE /shrug

How is this an exploited hammer again?

Look at the powerup that went on that hammer.. its a speed decrease/accuracy penalty powerup. I have put them on my pistols before and had DPS of similar results. Its not an exploit, as much as its just a misrepresentation of the weapon because of the DPS/ModDPS results from the powerup. DPS is not a very good indicator of a weapon's potential, since it is so dependant on the weapons speed, which does not always change 1:1.

Let see, possibly an exploit do to the fact that there is no way in hell to get a hammer to that low of speed.

This hammer seems to be exploited for the following reasons



  • Pre CU hammers converted with 104 SAC this one has 82 (which is possible, but read on)

  • To get SAC 82 You will have to use Geonosian Power Cubes (Full Experimentation on SAC when using Acklay bones will only get you to 95)

  • To get SAC 82 You will have to use Red Cubes with -14 and full experimentation on SAC on the Component leaving 3 points to speed or dam You will also have to use about 6 points on the final combine leaving 6 points for dam or speed.

  • When SAC is capped the min dam on the Hammer using perfect resources and with focus on speed for the components will be around333 and the speed will be around 2.79. When putting your last 6 or so points into damage you will end up with a hammer looking around2.79/450-1008/SAC 82 and that is with all amazings using +26 Paste

  • Stats might vary a bit according to which enhancers were used, but keep in mind: a)There is no reports of anything better than -14 cubes dropping post cu and all pre cu cubes converted without stats. b)Neither Paste nor Red Cubes enhances Min dam c) To Reach the max damstats you would need some very nice paste

Every stat on this hammer is just too good for what should be obtainable, but the thing thatmakes me suspecious is that all these amazing stats are on the same hammer and even wit kille components there is just no way of reaching what you see here

I was just scanning the forum, hoping desperately to see that they fixed the resource bug, which it appears they have not

At first glance it just looks like the issue was the DPS ect.. I didn't look closely enough, my apologies.

Its made post-cu as evidenced by the 889/889 coondition. Its also got no object creator, which means it was transfered over servers.

You'd be best off sending summerflame a PM, I'm pretty sure she knows exactly how these hammers are being made by now though. It's up to the devs to stop it, and as we've seen they aren't the best at "fixing" things in a timely manner. I'm pretty sure though that these hammers will be "balanced" back to what they should be sooner or later, we already know they have the code to do it.

And no, these stats are _not_ intended, anyone saying so is just trying to justify their exploits.




Im am currently passing along info on all these exploited hammers that seems to be popping up atm.


I would be very happy to get a PM of how the exploit works.


Please dont post on the public board about it as we need dont want the info spread (and to those of you who has posted how this is done please edit your posts)

That's about as useful as reporting bugs on TC (the reaosn I gave up wasting my time on TC). They don't do anything about it. I have even forwarded messages from players offering me many millions to make exploited weapons for them. Whether I know how to do it or not, I would NEVER do it. Those players are still playing without sanction (indeed I know for a fact they got an exploited weapon crafted elsewhere), and these weapons we see pop up here are still ingame and have been for quite a while.


Let's face it, they don't care even though it's to the detriment of people who try to play the game in a fair and equitable manner.

Heres a question question for the weaponsmith correspondant. Goes for all cors really.

If there is an explooit say with your profesison liek weapons being crafted like these. Do the devs tell you in your private forums that they fixed it? Or if there was a bug they fixed. But then not add them to patch notes for the rest of the people to see?

You see i know how these hammers were made. I know what made them special. But I don't know if it was a bug an oversight or they just changed the thing to balance weapons better.

No it has nothing to do with slicing or server transfering.

Is that even player crafted? There is no line that says who it's crafted by?

It is possible to loot some weapons off the Avatar with really high stats (I've seen a Survival Knife with a max damage of 500 something ). I won't post how here incase it is an exploit. If Summer isn't aware of what I'm talking about, PM me and I'll fill you in
