Thread: errr, what the 'ell is this?
Im sorry guys and girls. This has hit me with as much surprise as it is hitting you.
Its the first I ever hear of this.
Ill do my best to try and gather info on it.
Atm Im quite worried about the statement of crafters having 4 sub classes. Im hoping it means all craftin classes has 4 subclasses, I dont even want to finish the thought of what I fear....
I promise you Ill fight to keep our profession intact and I will need you guys to help out testing and come with all the feedback you can when this hits TC.
Ill make a Focus thread when it does. (not much point in having one as long as we have no clue off what is happening)
I urge you guys to try a positive approach to whatever they throw at us with this change, but at the same time not hold back on comments/suggestions/critics and more as it sounds like wemight beshaping our profession from the ground.

if this is another complete overhaul of the game, this is going to be it for me... as much as I love star wars, and as much as I liked this game, I just cant understand that anyone would be as bold as to suggest another complete overhaul after the previous one failed on so many levels....

seriously, there's a ton of stuff that can screw up what is already blech: schematics? certs? weapons caps-changed? modified? Will there be a weapons conversion like the CU and the great stuff converts crap? enhancers? pre-nerf weapons? sub-component changes?
Like any long-term WS I have put in a ton of time/work/money into accumulating what i have so I can build whatever, whenever. CU destroyed a lot of that and seriously degraded the profession with it's CL and turning majority of weapons useless to make.
Whatever happened to the In Concept forum. /sigh I'll never quite understand how people can look forward to changes, 'specially when dumped on us, considering the track record.
Props to our correspondant. My original post had probably been up only 10 mins or so before a response. Very much appreciated, to be sure.

just me, or are there NO MELEE PROFS? !
I just started crafting and i really enjoy how it is now so i hope its not changed too much. Crafting is one of those things that has always set this game apart from all the others.

VI. No More Item Decay
Item decay has been completely removed from the game.
Can you explain a little more about how Damage and Decay will work?
This part of the death penalty has been removed from Galaxies.
