Thread: How long until I become a grumpy old WS?

Hmmm, hopefully being a swordsman will prevent me from being grumpy. And also knowing that the WS I always went to never went grumpy when I asked n00b question.

At least 6 months or 100 special tells, whichever comes first.
Flurry is a pretty good server, it may never happen

Had a customer standing in my shop giving me FS resources, offering to my vendor he said "I'm offering to Braindg's Buffs ok?" This is standing right next to my 3 weapon vendors /whap self.. Also had a few tells saying can you make me a ub3r T21. Also been asked to make a hack called t3h u3br l33t axe...

Don't become grumpy, then you just support the stereotype. People don't comprehend mall vendors very well, I always have a designated drop all stuff here vendor, if people want to drop stuff, I say drop it on there. Anyways, someone asks "can you make an ub3r T21" respond... "Can you please define uber?"

hehe I never get grumphy, I always explain the costs for a 500+ scythe or something, and when I say do you have 20 mils, they usually run away 
No seriously, people how sometimes no idea of the costs of making weapons, ok I mean sliced weapons. Sure I can make a 220 max damage Scatter unsliced, but they don't want one unsliced they want a 220 with a 30%+ damage slice. I always say well you should consider that it will take at least, with a lot of luck, 10 weapons to get one like that, so that the costs of the scatter will be 10 times the price of one. Usually they end up buying the unsliced one and after asking me to slice it. This I always seem to slice better than when I try to sell it sliced-first. hehe strange twist of fate.
Anyway I am not yet getting grumpy, more like lazy WS. I am running 9 factories with 1000 weapons each atm 
so not so much weapon making to do after that

Yes, I think the lazy WS is more the stereotype than the grumpy WS :-p Year in, and I still get chuckles no matter how many times I get asked why a scythe costs so much.

my weaponsmith is a happy weaponsmith after 6 months...but a grumpy chef after 4

I'm only grumpy when I'm looking for Resources... but then when I'm broke and turning those stacks of mineral goodness into tools to kill things with I'm like a kid in a candy store!! Then I get some one asking me make them 50 Crates of Gernades and I use up all my resources and the cycle starts again... God I love this game!!!
And when I get really grumpy I make a Rocket Launcher.. log on my Commando Alt and Blow something to kingdom come!!! hehe
