another thing is - how can a slice disappear?

I have very little experience personally tho. I never used to repair weapons since I only ever used crap ones. and I only ever used high-end stuff alot once ADKs came out.

I've had a few guildmates reporting permanent stat loss on weapons latelyt oo once the weapons degrade too far. Even after repair it wont return the full damage capacity.

apparently if you slice a weapon that has a pup on it, the stats decrease.

Hi there.

Something realy weird happened to me a few minutes ago, something many people should be aware of...
I bought the FWG5 pistol from the following auction:

It worked great...
Even more then great...
After a dmg slice and a pup i reached 975dmg...

But now i look at my weapon and what the XXX ??????
DMG dropped to 231-628...
and my 3rd dmg slice disappeared...
I think it happened after i used a weapon repair tool.

Did anyone experienced that?

Im gonna call a CSR asap...

Did you let the weapon drop below 25% condition before repairing it?

In the old days once a weapon got that low it suffered permanent stat damage regardless of whether it was fully repaired or not. I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Yes it was lower then 25% but 300 points of dmg down???
Thats crazy...
And it never happened to me before...

Hmm...I'll see if I can voulunteer a few guildies to perform some slices on pup'd weapons to see what's going on here.


As for the slice being removed...it's sad that the DEVs weren't able to code a feature to showthat pre-cu weapons that had already been sliced. There's alot of room for possible claims of"harrasment" or "fraud"if I sell a pre-cu weapon that had been speed sliced although the conversion obliderated the slice thus preventing any future slice in the new system and fails to indentify that this weapon is no longer slicable.

Is this possible? I have never been able to slice with a power-up on, the power-up gets removed before it slices.

Yep that's probably the case, and you couldn't slice a weapon with pup's on it pre-CU. The same apparently applies, but the game doesn't tell you to remove it first...

If you do slice it with a pup, the DPS (and probably damage) gets nuked big time I hear.

Thats not the issue here.

The weapon was sliced before the pup and was great.
The problem happened after repair.
The 3rd tier slice disappeared and dmg reduced by 300.
CSR response:
We cant help you - We are working on a fix.

So it is a bug...
Be careful with your precious weapons
