Thread: DE-10 barrel question

I've built around 7 or 8 of these now... I can't confirm exactly what is in them but I can tell you that the damage "seems" to stay constant using white or yellow.
That may just be the barrels that I've managed to get my hand on. It is still to early to tell.

Ok, I looted one last night and one tonight... One has yellow lettering and one has white... Anyone know what the diffrence is?? Thanks

The yellow ones are better. Supposedly, they have hidden stats that the white ones do not. What those stats are though, no one knows. Some say damage, some say wound percantage.
On a sidenote, consider yourself lucky in looting those things! 
Ive been going to Endor for three weeks nows every day to go barrel hunting and still havent found a single one of them.

To get it I killed a Deathwatch Thugs and Henchmen... I just camped in the first room to avoid all the battledroids...lol

Either your really lucky or Im terribly unlucky, because Ive been doing the same thing at least one buff session per day for the last three weeks and still havent seen one.
Oh well, guess its back to farming Black Sun and hoping someone doesnt drag anymore Super Battle Droids onto me....

i can tell you this as a fact. i havea 12 pt ws alt and have done extensive testing.
a yellow label barrel has at LEAST one or more of teh folllowing bonuses.
min damage
max damage
wound %
speed
range mods
its possible that ham costs may be affected, but i havent really noticed any difference with that. IVe had a TON of de-10s through my hands. (20+)
typically a yellow barrel adds max damage usualy somethign like 5-30
stealth mcownzjoo.

whites and yellows vary in effect i just had a 390 whiteand a 395 Yellow DE-10 made... total of 5 DE-10's for me my last white was a 307

a little off topic here, but I've yet to make my way tot he dwb, and hoping beyond all hopes I can actually kill some of these things solo.
I'm master pistoleer, master bh.. I do not have elite weapons by any means, I have 200dmg scatters, geos and fwg5's .. will I be able to do reasonably well in this first room? or would I be wasting my time?
I've been intimidated by the stories I've heard about "you need a group of 20 if you want to go anywhere" in the bunker.. granted, i really don't have to go anywhere past the first room apparently, but what lays in store for me?
what pistol is best to use? how effective are pistoleers in this cave (I've been told not to use fanshot in there as it goes through walls) ..
any hints/tips/suggestions?

If you can avoid having a SBD dragged on you by some idiot, then you will do just fine in the first room.

I am looking to buy a DE-10 barrel from another player...I am new to the WS profession, but I thought these had stats to them.
His has none...is this a glitch/bug or is this how they now drop?

they don't have stats,and buy the new barrels not the old ones. Buy the ones that come in stacks
