Thread: Dev Chat Claims ROTW Has Lots of Lootable Schematics!! Where? WHAT THE....?

ROTW Has "Lots of Lootable Schematics!!" Where?
AFAIK, ROTW has none, ZERO lootable schematics.They areall non-craftable quest rewards, like the Trandoshan Suppresor Pistol that at715 dmg, 2 speed, 328 dps, 120 elemental, 75 SAC that no WS can match, and an ADK, removes the need for a WS from SWGfor pistol-wielders.
There are no lootable schems inROTW. Am I missing something?
The devs say "we have lots of lootable schematic items on ROTW as it is"
Is this just ignorance of their own ROTW design? Or is it something else? Is anyone else as upset by this as I am or even noticed?

Mor-dan, can you please get some answers on whether or not lootable schematics currently exist in ROTW?
Please keep this alive until we get some clarification on whether we are supposed to already have "lots" of lootable schems as the dev said or not.

A barrel isn't a schematic.
If indeed new schems have been added with publish 18--and God I hope that's true,WOOOHOO--our corr should be at least get cursory notification, no?
My point remains--I just want clarification.
We should never be left grasping at phantoms in the dark about additions to our own profession.

All I want in this thread is to push to get us some clarification about our "Lots of Lootable Schematics"
I'm shocked a dev stated something so blatantly untrue about our profession's hot button issue (no ROTW schems) and in the WS forums, it goes either unnoticed or with lukewarm response. WTH?

I am begining to think that most of the developers working on SWG would not be able to recognize the game if you sat them down in front of it. At FanFest someone asked when /FindFriend was going to be fixed to work in space again. The response was "What is /FindFriend?". How could you spend any amount of time with SWG and not know what that was?
Features get broken, like the bazaar/vendor bug that is preventing the names and amount of resources from being displayed when you view the item listing. When you report bugs like this you have to explain in detail how the feature used to work, because the developers currently working on SWG have never spent any amount of time playing the game. They haven't a clue how the things they are breaking are supposed to work.
I am sure the developers think there are tons of schematics in RoW. Who knows, maybe there were supposed to be some and some dumbass simply forgot to include them. After all, we are still missing a ton of melee weapon schematics post CU.
Speaking of which,where thehellare the rest of the meleeschematics that were on test center? Grinding melee professions is really hard for new players since half the weapons cannot be produced. There are HUGE gaps in the weapon levels.

Unfortunately, it's up to us to be vocal and educate the devs on our issues and push until we get our issues resolved.
Please keep trying until we find out where our "lots of lootable schematics" are.

as for being "asleep at the wheel", i do have an outside life and it is 50 billion times more important than any video game or sci-fi concept will ever be. i suggest you take a page from my book and unplug for a while and rediscover these things called "the human race" where you can build true face to face relationships with people and interact with them in an expanse we call "outside" under two round objects we call "sun" and "moon". if you think this game is fun, you try the one we call "life".
