Ok ive got a question all...its "hypothetical" /wink /wink
say someone on my server has a power hammer max 1900+...in CU it seems all power hammers are 1035 or very near it...power hammers with great acklay bones (like 900 damage in the end) still arent breaking 1100...is the owner of this wonderful exceptional power hammer going to see a giant reduction in damage to their weapon so that it is nearly the same as everyone elses? just using power hammers for example cuz i know their post CU stats

That's pretty lame. Whatever happened to the "Uber weapons will remain comparatively uber in the new system"?

They meant within the same class of weapon. The best power hammer on the server will still be relatively the best power hammer.

It will be exceptional in name.
Stat wise, just alike any other T-21. Consider it "balanced"

And they well be a Cap of any new weapons that are made but i bet to hit that hard cap you would have to have the BEST 1000 Ore and the Best Loot Drop EVER Tissue/Bones to reach the new hard cap...
I hopethat you are right but I'm afraid that you have a very optimistic nature.
What you describe is equivalent with having no cap at all.

an interesting idea... if its true - it is very good news for WS - as we will have a huge market for new weaponary... IF we can craft weapons that are better then the very best loot drops have become.. then i do see a light at the end of the tunnel - and my CU views will have changed..
Can someone confirm or deny if there is an easily achievable crafting cap for weapons.. or if it is just current weapons that are being pulled into line with post CU crafts being capless again?

I have a master weaponsmith with over 200mil invested in it so far, and to 'have hope' because everyone's prized ingame posessions are being destroyed is pretty sorry.

I dont think he meant to say hes glad about capitalizing on the losses of others so much as meaning if the hard caps are adjusted after the cu(increased) then craftin weaps will still be an enjoyable profession. The way it sits now(in cu testing)its to easy to cap out a weap making enhancements pointless, thus just punching out cookie cutter weaps all the time.
Bottom line if they have to do the caps to kill the unbalenced weaps so be it,but then remove the caps so new enhanced can be made within the new system then thats cool by me.
Sure alot of people who currenty own these weaps are gonna be pissed but i think they'll be even more pissed if their old weaps get trashed and never get to have a new enhanced weap made.
I have combat alts that are gonna get hurt on the conversion, im gonna loose alot of cash spent on various items but I can live with that IF I have the option of startin over and working on getting enhanced new weaps....butt all of that is riding on either removing or greatly incresing the current test caps.

Has anyone heard if they fixed the issues of Power handlers with krayt tissues in them to convert over correctly?

The wayI see it The Dev's are doing away with High End Loot Drop Weapons.
And making all looted ones within a basic damage range.
Now Rumors well fly so I did my own testing.
Had a T-21 840 Puped and 30% slice came out to 1010 damage I recall.
Rumor was T-21 damage are hard capped at 1100 now.
Took some 90 Damage tissue set of 6
"Got to love that now"
Made a T-21 and it was 1 sec faster then my old nice one and damage was around 1120.
These so called hard caps are mostly to get all old weapons inline and this I bet has alot to do with
"Double Sliced Old Weapons" Weapons Taking From NPC's that were Bugged" And the Power Up Sliced Weapons"
So all old weapons well fall into a new Cap for damage/speed.
And they well be a Cap of any new weapons that are made but i bet to hit that hard cap you would have to have the BEST 1000 Ore and the Best Loot Drop EVER Tissue/Bones to reach the new hard cap...
