Thread: O M G i just did the math...
First of all at Firearms I you can make Rifle Barrels for 96 XP and second with several crafting tools and crafting makros you can produce 3 or 4 barells parallel in 10 seconds.
So if you have enough steel, have a mechanical finger or a good doctor
3 or 4 in 10 seconds? the macro im running takes 5 secs to put in resources and pauses 2 secs inbetween so it load and doesnt give me the "your already craftiing" message thats 7 secs a barrel :-/
ps i Fd up on the math, hehe divide that by 60
53 hours not 3000 lol ill redo the math on 96 xp a craft
what item (that dosnt require previosly made items) give u the most exp?
and what item gives u the most exp overall ?
i herd that a certainrifle will give u 500 exp but it requires like 2 prevously made parts ? is this true?
and what rifle is it?
Projectile rifle barrels (firearms1)are a great grind.
Ryyk blades (melee4 i think) use up slightly more resources, but require two different kinds, and tie up the crafting tool longer.
Heavy Warheads give a ton of xp, but require lots of different resources and are very complex.
I didn't use time macros, just had hotkeys set up. When i was in a lagfree area I could to a rifle barrel every 3-4 secs.

3-4 per 10 seconds are possible.
1. Make two seperate Macros: one for starting, one for finishing crafting.
2. Place it at least 3 times on your quickbar using 3 different crafting tools. (F7 start#1 F8 end F9 start#2 F10 end F11 start#3 F12 end)
3. Lean back, grap your keyboard and your mouse, navigating the crafting window at the right position for double klick
4. press F7, double klick x2, press F8
press F9, double klick x2, press F10
press F11, double klick x2, press F12
start over
With this setup I managed to have all 3 tools running and just arrived at step 1 after the tool finished. It also often happened, that the first tool wasn't finished yet, if I klicked a little bit to fast.
So 4 could also be possible but 3 is optimal I think.
Wow only 3 tools? I was running 10 tools simultaneously.
There are 12 slots.. F1 was the start crafting macro that would do the following:
open tool in F3, open to rifle barrel schema, pause 3 (this is just enough time for the to double click steel 4 times andgems once), (close crafting macro with praticing), pause 1, open tool in F4, open to rifle barrel schema, etc. all the way through f12. then /ui action toolbarSlot00 repeatsthe macro again.
This macro looped aroundand arround until I ran out of resourcesand switched to a blank action toolbarwhich stopped the macro. 10 crafting tools was plenty, because when the last tool was fired up the first was ready to go again.
Yes, mapping a button to doubleclick was way better than i expected.
I leave it mapped for normal crafting. it's great.
I had the "practice no item" macro set up on 4 tool boxes doing proj rifle barrels, which require steel only gettin 94 exp each. I timed myself and I could do all four tools in 18 seconds although I have a 56k modem and would sometimes lag.
That saved me from carpel tunnel though, only having to double click the resources per macro, and I have a 5 button mouse and set up 1 button as double click too![]()
