We, the majority of professional Weaponsmiths do hereby request a rethink, and reapplication of the aforementioned Weaponsmith Toolkit.
We require that thought be put into the equipping of said Toolkit, sothat is DOES NOT require the equippable packslot to be wearable.

As a personal request, Id also like an explanation on why Weaponsmiths only got +3 to Experimentation when Docs and others got +5s.
The thing is that the toolkit is classified (and looks exactly like) a Bandolier. Bandoliers can't be worn together with a Pack. It's actually a General/Tailor issue, not any deliberate picking on Weaponsmiths.
But hey.. it'd sure be great to wear a bandolier and a pack at the same time.. so..

The funny thing about this is that they made the Lightweight Military Pack ( a skill modded backpack) as a wearable container. Given that it will be desired by and worn by (mostly) full combat profs who rarely need to use the invent space crafters are FORCED to use, wouldn't the obvious thing have been to giveTHEM the skill modded bandolier and give US the skill modded backpack?
I mean these people have helped to produce a very complex system in this game but little things like this lead me to believe that very little actual thought goes into some of the decisions they make. (Demolitionist's Belt anyone?).
Also I too would like to know why medics, chefs and archs got +5 where we only get +3 to experimentation. But hey, at least we're not armoursmiths; they got jack.

THey could have made it any other peice of clothing. Choosing one that uses the same slot as the backpack was just very bad foresight.
Comon SOE, aren't you guys atleast embarrased by this, You are said to be the best in the industry. Silly little mistakes like this don't look that good.

/Sign, but I think we need more than a petition in our forum. SOE said recently that they only sources of input they take are:
1) Correspondents
2) Customer Service Tickets
3) People on Test
Or at least I think those were the three. Petitions on profession forums wasn't on the list.

I could agree.
But how about this idea. Get the Devs to make it like a backpack and have it hold 50 items. That could solve two problems at once.
