I found out that my modified republic blasters come out higher. I guess the diatium bumps it up abit 
What do you guys make? Modified, unmodified, both?

Modified only these days. They come out higher than the regulars and with the added bonus of bleed I kind ditched the regular rep.

Considering how many schems of these I have laying around, I've only made the modified. *shrug*

Dont forget to stock some regular republics for people who are not certified for a modified republic.

I thought the cert for both guns was at novice pistoleer? If not, then when do you get the cert for the modified?

This is true. My bad earlier I got confused about certification.
It is certified at pistols 3 in the marksmen profession. So I guess there is no reason to make the regular republic blaster since even without the bleed the stats on the modified come out better.

You get the schem from the Rebel park.
You can make up to 500 guns by making a schematic from the schematic. Takes 2 power handlers so if you made a full schematic run of 1000 handlers you should be set for a while. Cant remember how many uses per "learned" shchematic. More than 1 though.

I never realized that the Modified was a lower cert.It makes no sense though,why would they make themore powerful weapon with a DOT require a lower cert to use it??

Schematic has 3 uses btw.
