- Current subcomponents 1)how will they be in relation to new?
- Current crated weapons 1) how will they be in relation to new?
I will post examples...
I have several models of weapon stocks. 40-40 +.453 IR +30, 40-40 +.282 IR +19 are just a few.
I have many scopes IR+41 W 10 HAM 15, IR +32 W10 HAM 8, IR+22 W10 HAM 2
Blaster Pistol Barrels 16-16 IR +16, Blaster Rifle Barrels 12-12 IR+19
Example
My ABPH 20-41 -.4
This was listed as stats from TC for ABPHs:

This really needs to stay near the top

... scopes add accuracy to your weapon, but take away some speed. Both stats can be experimented on.
Since we no longer have min/mid/max range bonuses (because we no longer have min/mid/max range accuracy differences), we moved to one "general accuracy" value. The "Accuracy" on a weapon should stack with your other accuracymodifiers (from skill mods, etc). You will also notice we got rid of the "mid distance" stat all together. Weapons now only have min/max distances.
So we're really not even sure what a scope is supposed to do.
I just wanted to make sure you didn't think everyone was ignoring these questions, as they're something we'd all like to know. But the answers just aren't available yet.

I agree that things are still in flux... But with 3-4 weeks until this goes live I expect to get answers to these questions rather soon. I don't want to see another TC-to-Live fubar that we have become all to familiar with.

This is not just a want or a wish. I am not a part time smith nor are many who play and watch this forum. It is absolutely vital that we fully comprehend the changes comming out. I have seen many questions brought forth and little in the way of comprehensive answers. I understand that much tweaking is being done and final stats are more than likely not possible at present. Here are some of the main issues as I can recall. I will post more as they come up.

ABPH:
Min Damage: 13 --> 17 @ 41%
Max Damage: 39 --> 43@ 41%
Speed: -.18 --> -.83 @ 41%
Special attack cost: 8 --> 0 @ 45%
Since mine are 81% this would seem to show that my normal ones will become aprox. 33-85 -1.6. If base tissues are now +90 (in TC) and I crafted one post CU the stats should come out 33-165. But if I crafted it pre-CU as 20-71 and it was converted to 33-142 then I will lose out in a major way as to the final result.
This is important to us and I respectfully ask all weaponsmiths help keep this thread up so that we may get the information we need to be effective and proactive when the CU finally arrives.
currently all decimals points are out of place. a .4 is really .04. everything has been reduced in speed in the CU. a combination of our current components would make nearly every gun around 1.5spd or faster. you need a full 1.0 speed reduction to reduce weapon speed by .1
I
have also heard that the speed exp line does not give decent results. So far this implies that pre-CU weapons will be much faster... of course this will also depend on the conversion process. This is not good news it seems.
