1. If u haven't read yet, someone has already made one...So it is in game

3. The loot isn't as rare as RIS is...so the cost will dependent on the weaponsmith selling it (You git!)

The Scythe isn't live because the components you need are only in the Geonosian Cave on Yavin, which is currently closed. Someone might have made one on Test, but that doesn't really help the rest of us.

As for price, I think they will go for several hundred thousand, if not a million, credits because you need to A) get the schematic (and fight a Krayt at the same time, or so I've heard) and then B) loot the components, which will probably take a considerable amount of time, if not effort, to do. Oh yeah, the guy who gives the schematic won't even talk to you unless you're a Swordsman, so it's not like just anyone cando the quest.

Wow.

So much misinformation around these days.

For one: Genosian cave is closed till they fix it up and patch it in. Loot is rumoured to have dropped on a few servers and the weapon is rumoured to have been crafted by some people who post here. I'm sceptical.

Secondly: I am master smith master pistol and had NO truoble either getting the mission OR getting the schematic. I make swords but I sure don't wield them.

Lastly: I am SICK AND ******* TIRED of tells from people asking me "Can U make me a scythe plz??? Money is not a problem!! kthxbye". Why the hell was news of these put in with patch notes when the devs KNEW it wouldn't go live for a further 2 weeks? Between that and the crate nerf, it has been a tiresome week for a lot of us...

Dev' Eloper uses Combat Balance Reschedule on you for 6-8 months worth of damage points!
You shoot your mouth off on the forums but miss! You post constructively but it is deleted!
Ubercred It'Duper tips you Cr 27,000,000,000,000,000,000 but you evade it!

u cant buy it causs we only get 4 (if were lucky) so heres a briefing... we're not selling

My advise is, get offence 2 in swordsman and go get the schematics yourself, the details about this u can read on the swordsman forum

I'm guessing the schematics will auction off on the trade forum for at least a million credits (considering the themepark schematics are going for 200,000 - 500,000 credits, this is probably low-end)

here is a lot of info on it

then, you've got to loot the genoshan sword core schematic (which is limited use, I believe, *and* requires looted items) (there's also a genoshan reinforcement core schematic, I believe)

then, the components themselves are fairly hard to get (especially the yellow cube or whatever color is "best" ... according to what I heard about TC before they took the dungeon away)

there are some optional genoshan things, like the genosian solidifying agent.

Oh yeah, and don't forget the overinflated SWG economy.

I would imagine the first scythes will be going for well over 10 million credits a piece, probably more.

Ok here are my facts on the scythe. yes i made a couple of them on the LIVE servers. some people on my server got into the cave somehow and looted the parts. they looted actual geono sword cores and the also looted me the schematic. now with the core schematic you will need power cubes which are also looted form the cave. there is also a gel that u can loot to enhance the sword cores. so far 3 different cubes were given to me. ones without numbers, which were the worst, and then some that stated what they will do for the min and max dmg. The best cubes i have received were +15 min dmg and +11 max. Also i was giving the gel and it adds to the max dmg of the sword core. the best gel i got was a +15 to the max dmg. Scythes are not fun to make. the scythe schematic has a limit of 2 uses. the sword core schematic has a 5 use limit.

Now all the parts that go into the sword cores have to be all the same and have matching serial numbers just like krayt tissue. the most swords i was able to make from a 2 use scythe schematic was 3. please don't ask me how they got into the cave because i have no idea. if you dont believe i made them here are screenshots:

Biggens, how much do you charge per scythe.

Although I'm guessing price from you probably wouldn't reflect actual cost, because you were probably given the schematics and components from the swordsman who wanted the scythe made, which meant a cost reduction.

How much do you think the scythes should cost though, seeing as you've messed with it all already.

to be honest i really dont even know what to charge for 1. they arent fun to make. gettin the parts once the cave is open is not goin to be a problem becuase the people that gave me the parts said it isnt to hard. but the problem is goin to be a shortage of the scythe schematics. so i gues i wil haev to wait till it goes totally live and see what people will charge me for the schematic and for the parts.

scythes arent out yet, the schematics are i think but you cant make them until the genosian lab mini-publish comes out in a week or so becase you need a genosian power cube that tehy drop i believe
