Thread: Is the cap on Desh Unit toughness really only 375????

Hello everyone i was taking a looka t some other posts and realized that it said the cap on desh copper ut is 375... if that is true (and i am a noob WSso i may be freaking about nothing) then how am i supposed to make good adv. vibro blade units????

Im also on Lowca and the higest UT desh copper we have ever seen is 363 UT. You should be able to hit 25-37 damage motors with something even a bit lower. TKA has really nice multipliers on their specials, plus the fact that they have the unarmed damage bonus (which no one else has) so a 147 VK sliced for damage does PLENTY of damage. I think everyone and their alt is a master tka, trust me it is for good reason.

By using the best resources that you can get.
"Good" is a judge of quality.
Quality is subjective.

I am led to believe that the devs took into account the caps on resources so in the case of an advanced vibro unit, having 375 UT on your desh copper and 761 UT(i believe) on your platinite copper gets you the best experimentation you can get for a vibro unit. This will give you approx 58% experimentation as a max, assuming you get that, that is the highest stats for a vibro unit that you will be able to get. I hope this explains it, sometimes i'm not too good with words - i'm only a weaponsmith not a wordsmith!!

thanks so much for the info guys i took a look at the caps an got some of the best stuff i could find and i ended up with some good stuff so i guess its not sucha big deal thank you all for the info

Loot some Nym high powered vibro units (+20 max dmg ave.) and plunk them into your AVBU and voila!

It's pretty darn low, whatever it is.

Ok - On eclipse I have Augevibi Desh Copper which has Unit Toughness of 645 and Carbolewiredite Platinite Copper with UT of 723.
These are the highest stats I have found in months of searching.

Are you sure about the Augevibi? SWGCraft has it listed with 345 UT.
Desh is supposed to have a cap of 372. Does anyone know where that 375 came from ?

Im a master WS on the Chimaera Server and i use Desh with 372 UT and Platinite with 799 in my vibro units and this max's out the AVU with just a 50% experimental damage.

No reason to freak. There are alot of resources with artificial caps on some of their stats. The devs have said that they took into account these caps when they design weapons. Also, every other weaponsmith in the galaxy is stuck with the same cap.
Because of the cap, youll never be able to make a vibro motor with 100 max dmg without enhancments (and probably not with them) but then again, neither can any other weaponsmiths.
Its just a natural waythat weapons get balanced out.

Congrats since the theorectical absolute max is 50.51%

In answer to Lunariel's question, the Augevibi Desh copper I have has UT of 645.
