Thread: Question on acklay bones
I going to hope you didn't get robbed. It is a possibility that your friend is new and didn't have good resources. Have to be careful about dealing with friends when you've got something like acklay or karyt. Your friend might have really wanted to make this weapon for you even though they had total garbage to do the job with. Heck we had a plumbub on our server a week or so ago that was like 1 conductivity and 2 OQ so it would be possible to totally ruin a great potential weapon. I crafted some batons with the a decently high min damage bone set and they were like 171 min damage with a mod experimentation or two. If you get more in the future You want to take it to someone who's been doing this a while. I've heard of people putting karyt into standard power handlers. (makes me woozy)One great item can't make up for the rest being garbage.
Thats about right.
You have to remeber to subtract the amount of damage you get from the re-core on assembly. That should be about 40 on top and bottom.
So, the stats of the stun you got look about right. So, your bones are safe in the SB.
It really helps for a player to list the other stats on the weapon. It gives us more info to go on. Say your pals resources werent up to snuff, and he only could do seven experimentations on damage. He might have then experimented your range, ham or durability.
Misconception that a resource can be wasted. You might be happier in the end if you have a 1200 durability on your batton. I would say though that the baton sounds quite reasonable. Being as a previous poster noted that you should cut out the the points that a regular advanced core adds to the weapon in the first place. Makeing the bones like seventy sixty over the average. When you have questions like this just ask the weaponsmith. The answer is usually very straight forward.
Sounds right to me. The standard crafted reinforced core is in the 40/40 range, so you should only be adding 70/60 to the stats of a non-acklay stun baton. My plain stun batons are 90-133, so you're talking about 160-190 give or take.
So you got just what you paid for.
133-39=94+100=194
One moderate success can take off any amount of damage easily

I have 110 min 100 max damage acklay bones. I had my friend make me a stun baton today. It came out 163-198, i think he stole my batons and gave me the ones that he made... can you guys help me how much damage would these acklays raise my stun batons damage up to.
it looks ok to me, the acklay bones replace a component rather than enhancing it so the stats of the replaced component need to be subtracted.
Like Tuckiee said too moderates and anything but great success can alsobugger about with the results.

be careful with those acklay bones, the csr's have said that any bone that has a higher min than max damage is bugged and they are taking any that they find.. so you might wanna be careful with that.
no no no what they ment was. If you use one of them and the min damage is over the max damage onthe final product then they will delete them however the bones they were talking about were the ones that were 190 110 or so. and if you put that in a stun baton the min damage>max damage and then they would delete your weapon. juist be carful about thoughs bones and if you want to use them put them in a power hammer nice and safe in one of thoughs due to the 300 damage gap
