* Changed Bowcaster name to "Light Bowcaster"
* Added craftable "Recon Bowcaster", certed at Rifles IV in Marksman
* Added craftable "Assault Bowcaster" with extended appearance, certed at Master Rifleman
* Changed wookie bolts to green
* Changed E11 bolts to red
* Modified the following weapons to use their extended appearance instead of the defaults:
o EE3
o DH17
o DXR6
o Elite Carbine
o Laser Carbine
o D18 Pistol
o D10 Pistol
o Deathhammer Pistol
o Renegade Pistol
o Scout Blaster Pistol
o SR Combat Pistol
o LD1 Rifle
o T21 Rifle
* Added craftable "E11 Carbine Mark II" with alternate E11 appearance, certed at Master Carbineer
* Moved Scatter Pistol certification to Master Bounty Hunter, Renamed weapon to "High Capacity Scatter Pistol"

The Weaponsmiths are going to see a WHOLE lot of new commando customers now!
And you can get even MORE business if you push for the commando weapons (FT/HAR) to be able to take those powerup dealies you can make! (nudge nudge).

could i please get some kind of explanation to as why a level always does the sama damage on hit with the same special....whats the point on having Min/max damage with that?

My bet is that they will be using the same random number generator they always have, so their confident in it's state. That being the casethey are using a single # for each weapon to reduce the variability in the output, so that they can quickly identify problems with their new algorithms and not have to do some form of statistical analysis to identify the problem areas.
I know in my section of the software industry a one month public beta and then immediate release would be a suicidally agressive schedule. My hat is off to them.

Awesome, having more functional variety is great - and I can see where having different levels of the same type of weapon actually helps solve the issues of converting over currently owned uber-Krayt versions.
However (isn't there always a "however"?
), if the advanced versions of the already existing weapons are simply using the extended appearance of the weapons (scopes, stocks, etc) ande the lower level is the default appearance (which I'm suspecting is the case, I haven't seen them to compare so I could of course be wrong), where does that leave us for ever getting customization back? Will it be totally removed from the work queue because you can't customize an already extended appearance (or make the lower level weapons look like the advanced versions). Just curious...

Doesn't Chewie's bowcaster shoot red bolts in RotJ?
You made pistoleers happy with the DL44 XT cert, but you just cheesed off every smuggler that wasn't planning on getting Master Pistoleer.
