I have been looting tons and tons of these fangs while getting my spider venom.

They say they are an ENHANCEment to a projectile feed mechanism. Do we finally have a way to make better tangle pistols? Best set of fangs I have gotten so far is 64 Max damage -.3024 attack speed

These can be used to enhance any weapon that used a projectile feed mechanism: Strikers, FWG5, Tangle, Launcher and Tusken Rifle (and maybe a couple others I missed).

Pretty useless? I used a low level fang to create an FWG5 that is 68-199 with 1.8 speed. I haven't seen a recent FWG5 that is in this performance category.

Okay mixed replies on this, I now know they CAN be used to enhance, but are they worth enhancing? Too many mixed answers, I would like soeone to definitively lay down their opinion.

Think of them like this. What value do you feel krayt tissues with +64 max dmg and -.3024 would have? Because that is essentially what you have, except of course these will be used in guns like an fwg5, bowcasters, launcher pistols, and tangle pistols. Guns that in my opinion have customers dying for more powered versions.

How many people want to hit composite armour with a tangle pistol to benefit from the composites vulnerability to stun dmg?

How many people are going to choose the fwg5 as their pistol of choice when patch 7 makes novice pistoleer a requirement to use an RB?

How many wookies would love to use a bowcaster if it just had a little more punch?

How many Commandos r looking for a faster pvp weapon than their Flamers?

I believe there will be great demand for these weapons. Now the trick is to get paid for your finds. You can sell them on the open market, or you can find a top master WS on your server and try a profit sharing venture.

Someone can post what are they used for? In the description there is "ranged weapon component".
