Thread: Uber loot screenshot
After the last post about uber loot I was skeptical. Just after I read it, one of my guild mates posted this pic on our private forum.
Laser carb
Unsliced, but it has a powerup.(original stats: 32-595) Even so, that is an insane gun. Low ham, crazy damage, mind damage over time ..... note, it does have lower durability.
Rare coincidence? Maybe.... but something to definitely keep an eye on.

Oh well, who needs weaponsmiths anyways. Used to be the uber-leets had to come to us for their best weapons, now they'll just camp the best spawn areas until they get their uber weapons. Nice to not be needed anymore.
P.S.: The low conditions are pointless, because the weapons will last long enough to get them their next uber-leet weapon, andthese weaponsmake it easier for them to kill the NPCs that drop them. This is the first thing that SOE has done that has really disappointed me, especially after they said they weren't going to have uber drops.

So much for the best items always being player made. I'd be ok with weapon drops that were the same, or a little higher than the best a weaponsmith could make. To make something 3, 4, 5 times better in every way, and then add some effects, and stats - it's stupid.

why did we have none of these for the past four months, then several posts on them in the past two days? are theymessing with the loot tables again?
Well guys it's been fun but I think I'm going to go play Diablo II, I don't have to pay 15$ a month and I can get uber drops there too, what do you know there are no WS in that game either. Okay I'm sorry it just i"m sure you all realize how frustrating it is you've been playing longer than I have, most of you. It's just all the time and effort put forth to become a WS and then having your hopes of making the best guns in the game dashed into a million pieces made by the developers, why do they do this to us? God i feel like I'm in communist China sometimes.
We worry *now* because *then* will be too late.
It's not a case where they're just slightly better - they are absolutely ridiculously better. Aside from robbing weaponsmiths are their core purpose, it's just sheer nuts. Can you imagine this type of weapon in the hands of a griefer? I can just see a couple of exceptional weapon holders skulking around Krayt grounds, and when an entire group has engaged a Krayt, kill steal it, loot it and laugh shouting "I is teh masteh!". Imagine that 450-700 Tusken, potentially sliced and definitely powered up for damage, able to spam specials forever because it's a 5 mind cost.
We'd like to think they'll be rare but we don't, well, me and a few others at least don't think this will be the case because it's a cursed pitfall that seems to hang crafting in any MMORPG.
Perhaps we are being a little over the top but it seems the only way to be heard. Even then it's no guarantee, I saw a rifleman thread go over 37 pages and not once did they even get a 5 word response from upstairs of "We are looking into it." Even if it was to palm them off. Not even a "This is not broken, stop now."
