Thread: Most Rare WS Resource?

Just curious as to what more seasoned weaponsmiths think of this question. In my 3 month experience as a Master WS, you think they are all rare at first, but now that I've made most of the ones on my schematic list, I have to say the hardest to get my mits on is Ryll Gemstone. (this also means decent -- at least mid grade -- quality resources, not grinding level)
2nd hardest would be Polonium Iron.

I've seen the Rylls and Green Diamonds once in 4-5 months. And they weren't good but beggers can't be too choosy. Polonium hasn't spawned in a Dog's age on Lowca. But the one I really, really need ('cause it's used in a lot of stuf) is Plumbum iron. We've had nothing but pure garbage on Lowca for I can't say how long. And I mean garbage even for plumbum, which always sucks. I understand about the low (<50?) CD cap due to the lead in plumbum. I accept that. But is the OQ cap under 150? The other rare that I've only seen spawn twice so far is Class 3 Solid Petrochem Fuel for the Advance Vibro Blade Units. Seems a really silly requirement for those components, which require 100% UT as the stat, and Class 3 doesn't have any UT so you always get a 0 in the equation. 'Course that means who cares about quality as long as you've got some.

The gemstone that goes in stun batons, so rare I can't even remember what it's called...
I'm having problems finding (any let alone decent) plumbum Iron and (rather annoyingly) Irolunn gas... :?

noone in my guild even knows that resources exists when i asked them if they had any so i could make a baton

The stun baton gemstone is Byrothis Crystaline. I think the rarest may be the Hydron-3 inert gas, even though there is no use for heavy warheads in the game, the are good for WS xp.

Rare is all speculation, the way I have seen it, you say blah blah is rare, then all the sudden it spawns within the month, and then then spawns twice or more in the next month and then never again for a really long time, maybe the timers on the spawn system are borked hehe.

in ahazi u can find hydron3 but quality 30..skevon just gone 2 days agoo..ididnt see any warheads minerals good... all of them under 200..suxx...lots of minerals are rare and plnatery survey droids not working good (today i spent 5 hours and they all time give me same minerals in diffrent planets)...i think ws is the hardest profesion in game it easy to master but after ayii its hard very hard...2 weeks past and i still coudnt craft anythink..just crafting powerups (dont like to craft sux staff and sell for 2-3k)

Wow! This is so strange. The differences between servers is amazing. We have a spawn of Irolunn almost once a month, and I have 936 and 885 quality in stock. A new Byrothsis Gemstone (the one for stun batons) comes by every week it seems like. I'm giving it to our Chef to make bottles for brandy! I guess "rare" really does depend on what galaxy you're working in.

I've noticed all the rares spawn together (or at least a few weeks within each other). On Ahazi, the Plumbum that has spawned twice recently has been cr*p. I absolutely loathe using it on wpns that require it. Polonium finally spawned after 3months of waiting, and it's cr*p. Kammris spawns, and it's killer. Go figure. But still no Ryll. (argh)

ryll gemstone is by far the rarest resource I have come across.........we've had plumbum and polonium, but with uber crappy stats...........

Its really server specific. On sunrunner we had count them five spawns of polonium in three weaks. And four spawns of ryll 6 weeks. While our osterine comes in a blue moon as well as diatium.

rainbow gems by far, chily has had them only about 4 times since release. ryll is there all the time though, we get that at least every month, but weve never really had good iroluun, 889oq last november was the best its gotten. atlantium ore is rare too but that spawned back to back on chily, first time it was 282oq, the second it was 286oq, go figure

rarest WS ressource realy all depends of the server you are on. On Lowca for exemple, we had 3 different byrothisis cryst gemstone in the last month. What we are lacking serioulsy right now, is Ryll Amorphous gemstone, it has not been in shift for over 3 month now, and is a must have for firearms.
