Thread: Interesting Question

Well, while on Rori today I noticed something.

All of the player cities seemed to have all of the streams and puddles drained. On the radar I flipped "show terrain on radar" to on and it seemed that this was true for about a 500 meter radius around the city hall.

I was wondering if any of you knew if this happens when the city hall was placed, or that is just the way the terrain was before the city hall was placed.

I'm going to copy some waypoints down and head to another server to test this question. If nobody responds with an answer, I should have one in about 30 minutes.

If this is off topic, I am sorry. This just seemed interesting to me, hopefully a few of you find it interesting as well.

Cities have a maximum radius of 450m but there has to be 100m between cities. This is why on the planetary map it's obscuring a 500m radius instead of 450m. Two city halls can never be closer than 1000m apart.

Now, why it obscures the terrain on the terrain map is something only the devs could help you with. It certainly doesn't make the terrain any easier to build on by having a city there. Oh how I wish I could terraform somewhat.

If you have an Entertainer Inspiration buff when ever you get your weekly xp or xp from an election, will you get 10% xp? A wierd question I know, yet a curious one.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

I've always been proud of my capped rifles and the good damage ranges and speed they have. (At a grand overall cost of 49 million for 3 rifles including the ADK's, I have good reason hehe) However, I was thinking, since all the good rifles are energy damage, is it possible that I could actually do more overall damage with a kinetic rifle when firing at a target with a PSG?We're speaking about Jedi here with a psg, and an average of around 7Kinate armor protection. Have any of you tested this?

Thanks,

I don't see why not. It's too late here for me to have the concentration for exact figures... but if your target has armour plus an energy PSG then there's a good chance a 900+ damage kinetic weapon could hurt more than a 1100+ damage energy weapon. One of the intentions of the CU was to encourage the use of a variety of weapons depending on the relative weaknesses of your target.

Only prob is that the kinetic Rifles that are craftable is the Tusken rifle and the beserker and both of these are CL 40 so their damage cap is pretty low

I havent tested the actual numbers against a PSG, but I might just see if it cant be arranged as this has made me curious aswell

A damage capped Feather FWG5 with a damage PUP might do some serious damage too, especially with a looted scope.
