Thread: Best strategy for Unarmed 4, TKN grind?
Every commando and smuggler ask this very same question. Unfortunately, UA4 is just a rite of passage that ever TKA must suffer before the path to meditation is enjoyed.
UA4 is a horrible grind, but try to see if you can get aTKA masterto dizzy + KD a few NPC humaniods, then take over the rest of the kill as it lays down on the ground.
VK certification makes a big difference, so be patient, it'll come.

TKA Master
Use a VK, even if you dont hv certification. It will increase your speed. I personnally went to Bestine, group with my mount and equip a FWG5 to get some Giant Worrt Mission. Put your armor on, sniff some muon gold and you get around 700XP per Mob + the lair. You can easily do 30k XP per hour. Nevertheless, you should be able to heal yourself while swinging.
Get a friend to bleed your targets before you fight them. If you punch it and he never shoots it with normal damage, all the bleed damage gives you Unarmed XP. I did novice brawler --> TKN in about six hours with my Rifleman bleeds and some bolle bols.
(Not a holocron chaser: I just thought TKA looked cool and wanted to try it out).
or you can do what I'm doing and go to Rori and kill Leviasqualls. I have novice pistoleer for the bleeds. I stack bleeds on it and just run around until the bleeds get it to 1 hp, then just unarm lunge it. I get 1800 xp per kill grouped with a pet for the xp bonus.
The good thing about leviasqualls, is that you can out run them without any terrain negotiation, they are really slow.
Use another combat profession's dizzy+knockdown. I use dizzy from one hand, and carbineer chargeshot1 on any tusken, then apply bleed 2 with my gaffi stick and my friend goes to work on the tusken with his uber Unarmed 4 capabilities ![]()
We got him to TK novice in just a few hours because it gives him the XP from my bleed, and of course he never got attacked due to the tusken being KD and dizzy.
I have master fencer, and my first holo says I should master TKA. I am currently grinding unarmed IV, and MAN is it slow. What should I be fighting? Should I be in a group?
Currently i have found vynocks to be the best xp for the time, but I could be wrong there.
