Hello (and thanks in advance) -

I am a "mid" ranged TKA (currently at 2/1/3/2)

Pretty new to this game and looking for good XP mobs to hunt (preferable solo with no bufs other then powerboost).

I have hunted Desert Squil on Tat and found the xp is not so great, then went to Dantooine and hunted "queakers" (spelling?) the XP is great, about 20k to 25k per lair and with mind boost I can usually do the entire lair before the mind boost runs out.

But hunting the same MOB over and over again is tedious at the very least

Just wondering what you guys and gals would recomend, I have not really gone to many planets so I really dont know what this game has to offer.

Have heard the "rancor area" on Dath is fun, but dont think I could solo a rancor just yet

And yes I know of the squill caves and tuskan fort - but this places are packed with players and your lucky to get one kill an hour.

thanks but i cant get Long Horns to come up on the mission terminals

All I get are Picket Plain Walkers - the XP is good but at my skill lvl it takes forever to kill the entire lair with Mobs

Try Vicious Huf Duns or Torturs on Talus.

The Vicious Huf Dun missions are fairly low - 3,500/3,600 credits, around lvl 22-25.

I got them from the EAST-most terminal just outside a hotel in Dearic, and get the lairs east direction.

When you get higher, or have a pet you can group with to get missions - look for Tortur missions - a Bull Tortur gave me 3.6k XP when I was around 2/2/2/2 - all the way through to 3.2k at 4/4/4/3 (working on that last bunch of combat XP).

Vicious huf duns don't spawn too many from the lair at a time, but they do DB - so watch out.

Torturs don't DB, but you can let the lair spawn a bunch at a time to get a lot of Bulls, and about 3-5k XP for the lair itself.

Oh, and both of these species knock-down fairly easily.

I'll have to agree on the torturs. I used the rancor I have and got into a bunch of them last night. I am only a novice with 0-0-0-1 and was able to take these on without buffs or drugs. My rancor helped a good bit, but I was still pulling in 1500-2000 exp per tortur. They are so huge that it prevents them from piling ona lot and they seem kind of slow.

Sorry for that ourbreak...I did those missions on my way to master commando, go so sick of them I swore I would never visit talus again

(makes sure no one is watching - buys one-way ticket to talus again)
