Greetings all. got novice TK 2 nights back and with some combat exp i had banked im now 0-0-0-2.

Im also a master smuggler and intend to spend my remaining points after master TK in pistoleer. I was wondering do the various defence mods in TK and pistoleer stack? and do the defence mods for melee etc in TK work all the time or only when i have a pistol equipped?
