I played TKA during beta, and recently picked it up again as one of my holo careers. Ive now mastered and will be keeping it for as long as possible. Its probably been mentioned before but why dont we get any special bleed attacks? Ive recently done swordsman too and the mind bleeds they get are awesome. When it comes to dealing damage to high ham critters/npc's in pve, I feel a bit gimped, as most have medium/heavy armor with high kinetic resists.

Not sure But I think we get stat changes in trade off.

I mean we:

Stun

Dizzy

Blind

Intimidate

Warcry

Knockdown

Lunge (posture down)

Im pretty happy with that. I dont *think* any other profession has as many stat changes as we get. (yes I know all brawlers get lunge intimidate and warcry)

Actually we do bleed. I haven't nailed down which special it is yet but when i'm out soloing i see the 'Bleed' indicator pop up fairly frequently. I usually don't state attack sticking with the KD/Warcry/UA2 (not master) and this combo will cause a bleed 1 out of 3 mobs or so. Again, haven't nailed down which one causes the bleed, but as of the Dec patch, its been there.

We do bleed. It's just random. There is no single special that causes a bleed attack.

Like antares said it's a designed limitation for the sake of balance with the other melee professions.

I never noticed it until UnarmedHit3...and now it all seems to bleed if it stands up long enough.

Of course, I am always bleeding by then too, so it ain't worth it hehe.

We're also one of the only professions that can target every pool.. yeah our health specific ones BLOW, but our action and mind hit pretty hard considering. Makes it really easy to team up with anyone, pistoleer, carbineer, rifleman, whatever.

just a side not...

warcry and lundge are brawler skills.. not tka only.

but honestly, we dont need bleeds...

we don't need another damage type.

we'er fine the way we are..

It's the other melee classes that need alittle twicking.

That's my 2 cents.

that's not a bleed it's intimidate. red drips = bleed - white = intimidated.

Wow, don't know what happened there, sorry for the double.

Vindictive, i have a mstr carbineer on Lowca and i know the diff between intimidate and bleeds thanks. The fact is that after the dec patch we do bleed and you can see the bleed animation above your target once one sticks. As mentioned above however it does seem random. I haven't mastered TKA, lack o'points, so i think its either random or one of the 3 hits posted above as those are the only ones i use.

Now the down side, not sure what others are getting but my bleed dam is almost negligible. Its usually single digit, once up to 12 whole points!! yippee!! So i'm not sure how useful it really is. Anyone able to confirm how much dam they are getting on theirs?

Cheers!
