Thread: Is CoB working for us now?
AFAIK,
CoB has worked for a long time 
However -
Defense Acuity is broken. TKA get quite a high level of this, which is supposed to give us the chance of either Blocking, Dodging or Counterattacking an attack. What CoB does is temporarily raise the chances of any of these passive defenses firing, therefore improving your defense at the expense of a large mind hit.
The problem lies in the fact that on its own, Defense Acuity does little to nothing. I could count the number of times one of these special defenses kicks in during the course of an evening online, on one hand. If you use CoB you will only notice a slight increase in defenses against the most inaccurate of fighters.
Yes, you guessed it. I finally got some improvement whilst fighting against a Master Pikeman. Not something to be proud of however as let's face it, Pikeman as a profession is seriously broken, and needs some love. Fight anythingserious and you'd be wasting the mind hit that CoB takes.
If you want to see how CoB -should- work in conjunction with passive defenses, have a duel with a Fencer, and get them to use it
