Thread: Exclusive Imperial Master Teras Kasi Artist Faction Perk
Let me start off by saying that I a not a Teras Kasi Artist nor do I intend to become one. TKAs are cool in my book, but not what I had in mind for my character. I've posted this idea on the GCW board some time ago as well, but I wanted to present it to an all TKA audience.
What would you ImperialMasterTKAs say to being able torequisition Dark Trooper armor from the recruiter as a faction perk? I would imagine it would cost muchmore than regular Stormtrooper armor and have some integratedDefense vs Knockdown modifierin it tohelp justify the higher cost. This game definitely lacks when it comes to the availability to dress as your faction does and I think more variations of Stormtrooper armor would definitely help out with making the game more "Star Warsy".
So if you like this idea or hate this idea I'd love to hear from you guys about it. I don't take anything personally on these boards so if the idea sucks let me know. Thanks for reading this and I hope you all stick with SWG for a long time to come.
this is a good idea.
the idea would HAVE to be expanded though so that each profession (at the master level) was able to receive some special faction perk from each of the factions. the game must remain as balanced as possible. people already cry nerf in the forums often enough. if ONE profession got faction perks...well you can just imagine.
i VERY much like this idea. it gives another reason why people should focus thier energies on selecting a profession, and not just bulding a PvP template for their characters.
Anyone ever notice that the dark troopers are WOOKIE SIZED!! That's right, dark troopers are actually wookies that DO wear armor. It's true, I read all about in book 347,"Attack of the Imperial Wookie Clones".So, it's only natural that this armor option would best be used for imperial wookie tka's.

I just looked at the database and in paragraph four it says that the Phrase Three Dark Trooper could operate independently or be used as an armored powersuit. Unfortunately it also says that only one ever saw production, but this game takes some liberties with continuity anyhow so allowing Dark Trooper armor to Colonel Master TKAs for an exorbinate amount of faction points shouldn't make anyone too upset.

well I beleive in armor.... however my wookiee keeps cracking his composite when he tries to squeeze his fat ass into it.
