Hi, I got a holo that said TK and I must admit I am stoked about it. I always wanted to do TK, just haven't gotten around to it yet, except now. Now for my questions.

1. As a TK novice, I have intermidiate precision striking and nothing else, what would bea good macro to use.

2. What tree should I advance in? Stay in the same one or use each tree evenly? ex 0041 or 1111?

3. Where do I loot these skill tapes? I am also a commando so I can flame them while I suck at TK.

Thanks for your info.

i'll try my best here....

1. not sure about macros myself, sorry.

2. make sure to advance in balance conditioning cos u get knockdown which is very useful. meditative technique will be useful but not so crucial if u have medic/doctor as well. the 4th tree (cant remember the name) is gained via combat xp, not unarmed so theres no choice there, u may as well spend the points if u dont need em for any other profession (it gives area-specific hits)

3. dont know anything bout these, sorry.

You can get skill tapes as the loot from the trash piles in Panther City on Talus, but the panthers seem to guard to trash piles, you get the idea. As for the macro thing, I dont think that anyone that has obtained a proffesion by usin a macro( while not in attendance of their character)to gain exp really deserves to get a Master title, because in my mind they havent truly earned it or learned how to play the proffesion. It should be that if you want to have a Master title in anything, then you should have to invest the time & effort for it. I see macroing ( while not in attendance of your character) experience/levels as a exploit, not as the tool that it is intended to be.

1. don't bother with macros, just hit stuff & you'll level fast enough. Piket or huurton missions are easy xp

2. Get balance conditioning 1 early, to kd stuff. With animal mobs, kd/warcry/intimidate put your vks on and /unarmedhit2 until they stop twitching. Then go up the power line. unarmed dizzy is in the first box. V. useful vs npcs. Spam dizzy till it sticks, knock them over and have mostly free hits (they'll occassionally land a hit as they stand up between falling downs). Then get to meditate 2 for the powerboost. then fill in the boxes to master.

3. Skill tapes/armor inserts. You can loot these from several places on the POI lists, not just panther city. High level mobs drop occassionally too (e.g FS npcs on Dant, Nightsisters, Nyms, Corsairs, Marauders)

It seems people are really unaware of BE tissues... you can get warcry/intimidate and stun/melee defense tissues built into your clothing - just talk to your friendly neighborhood BE
